Walmart employee gets fired for telling a customer, “Google it.”

Walmart employees are supposed to read things to you? In my local Walmart the employees don’t even speak English.

He is rude as fuck. He can’t be in customer service. He deserved to be fired.

I’m very impressed w/ the lady and how she handled this person that thinks he doesn’t need to help a customer to the fullest.

This employee actually sounds sharp with a level headed response to every question. He's got a good case for wrongful termination. Walmart is setting up their employees for failure by overwhelming them with work, not hiring enough employees, not paying enough while de-incentivizing working with customers by not providing a commission. I'm so over Walmart. They've basically been profiting off cheap Chinese products caused by the Globalist elites for decades.

They don't pay people enough for whatever this man was going through.

That was not a reason to be fired. Written up or suspended. I hate to say this but people should not be in charge of other people’s means to support themselves. People who possibly have issues with themselves or possibly have been made fun of or bullied definitely be on payback

At our local Walmart this is normal employee etiquette. Which is why I stop shopping there. Lol

When students do not learn to read, write, do math, etc you get adults like the customer they were discussing. Getting a proper education is a must at learning to navigate life. They probably didn’t know how to “Google It”.

Oh, I agree with that young man I’ve had that experience at a recent job where a customer just made up a whole bunch of bull shat that contributed to my dismissal. Also as a Coach, what I’ve noticed is that very few adults apparently have the ability to comprehend much of anything and I can’t imagine what the Wally world people go through. And that manager is another piece.

He’s obviously had quite a few stressful shifts where he feels completely alone and abandoned and whatever happens in the electronics dept is all on him. That dept. is full of thieves and needy people where he’s stressed and he’s alone. With no help from managers, as he said.

Can't tell you how many times stupid managers with no independent personality or principles gave me the talk about "non politically correct discourse". Look at the world those PC people were trying to build. I don't want that world. Sometimes customers need to figure it out alone

Even though I think the dude’s recollection of events didn’t seem to point to him being overly rude, I still think he comes off as abrasive and likely gets frustrated in moments of stress, causing him to feel annoyed to the point of expressing that annoyance to customers.
