I built a service desk agent using ElevenLabs’ new Conversational AI Agents feature. Watch the video to see how responsive it is! There's a very small YouTube channel that uses stock footage and narration, where the voice seems to be AI trained on my voice. I was told about it from one of my viewers that said when he started watching this channel he realized it was my voice, but with AI. It for sure doesn't sound perfect, and it still has that "AI" sound to it, but this stuff is going to get a lot more convincing really soon. There's not really any tools to deal with this currently, as there's no reporting system, and it's not an exact copy because the narration is different. But I feel like this may become a much bigger problem for YouTube in the future. They are going to have to adapt their copyright system to include AI voice and video copies of people under impersonation.

TikTok just quietly installed a new feature onto everyone’s accounts without telling anyone It automatically gives them permission to take your images, your voices, and plug them into AI and use them for whatever content they want to make That means they can now make make AI content that looks like you and say things that sound like you, doing stuff you would never say or do TikTok rolled out a new setting called “Allow AI to Remix Content” - It was turned on by default for existing and new videos. - This allows other users and TikTok’s AI tools to use your video clips, images, and audio to create AI-generated remixes, memes, or new content featuring your likeness and voice If you don’t want this you can opt out However, The opt-out is per video, there is no account wide toggle. You must go into each individual video’s privacy settings to turn it off This make it much more difficult and annoying to opt out every time so eventually you’ll likely just stop opting out and they can steal your likeness for their AI TikTok says this setting is mainly about letting other users remix your content with AI, not necessarily TikTok secretly training models on everything But that’s not true, because training data permissions are covered in their broader terms They are literally stealing your likeness and voice for training models

Most voice models are great at cloning voices, but they still manage to erase the person. I have an accent. Voice models don't know how to preserve it. Whenever I clone my voice, models get the words right, but mess up the rhythm badly. They flatten my vowels, and everything drifts toward a generic American accent. I'm attaching one example from Mirage. This is the first model I have heard of that can reproduce access as-is. • My accent stays intact, even when speaking English and Spanish • My pacing and cadence feel intentional, not averaged • The expressivity of my voice comes through Best part: Mirage only needs a short sample of your voice to clone it. I think this solves the hard part of voice cloning: intelligibility is easy, but identity is what makes a huge difference. Listen to the attached sample, and you'll notice the difference if you compare it with any other model out there. Sorry to break it to you, but if you think AI can automate all your marketing, you’re probably going to be disappointed. Yes, AI can write your posts. It can create images. It can analyze data. It can even help you build campaigns faster. But faster does not always mean better. AI still needs someone to tell it what matters. It needs someone to understand the customer, choose the right message, and decide what is actually worth creating. Because your goal is not to produce more content. Your goal is to become more visible. You need to know where people are discovering your brand. Are you showing up on Google? Are you being mentioned by ChatGPT and other AI platforms? Are your competitors showing up more often than you? That is where AI becomes useful. Not when it replaces your marketing, but when it helps you see what you could not see before. With you can track your share of visibility across search and AI platforms. You can see where your brand appears, where your competitors are winning, and which topics could help you get mentioned more often. So do not use AI to put your marketing on autopilot. Use it to make better decisions, move faster, and become harder to ignore.

What happens when it begins to intervene directly into your thoughts? Where the people you interact with, the things you do, are guided by an AI enhanced voice that speaks to you the way you’d like to be spoken to. Voice In My Head explores the implications for AI (ChatGPT) to listen and intervene in your social experience in real-time, augmenting your personality. Start going much deeper and much more nuanced in your “prompts” with your 🤖 apps - too many still use ChatGPT like it’s Google search.. when it has much more power than that and can give you much more in depth answers and more importantly can be a working partner versus a quick tool .. hope this inspires more to use their voice - I think voice will be the main interface with ai 🤖 in the next decade & I hope this inspires someone to ask much more detailed questions and go much deeper with their details and nuances! Here's gpt-realtime-2 as the brain of the ship AI in Gradient Bang. The voice-to-voice response and tool calling times here are unedited, so you can see exactly what the interaction with the model is like in an agent with a very complex system instruction and frequent tool calls. (I did clip out the subagent task execution segments, after gpt-realtime-2 starts a subagent via a tool call. Subagents in this config used gpt-5.2 "medium" effort.)

It's trained on my Lex Fridman podcast It's 99% perfect but the training data apparently still has some Lex "hummm" sounds in it that sometimes show up I think they call this "crosstalk" and it's hard to remove with AI so I think there's no other choice than to listen to the 1 hour of training data and remove those bits and re-train But then we have a good AI model to turn my book MAKE into an audio book without having to read it for hours/days/weeks
