Wan 3.0 is coming. 1080P native 30s😋

No one cares if it’s another proprietary model. They’ll get their hype on release day, then it’s over. Especially now that we have Minimax H3 and upcoming flux3. Unless they absolutely destroy Google Omni/Seedance (which they couldn’t with prev releases), who tf cares.

No one cares if its closed source like everything they released after wan 2.2. We have LTX, MiniMax and soon Flux 3 to play with.

Unless it's open weights no one cares. They already burned a ton of good will rugpulling from wan 2.2 onwards out of greed.

Wan has gone to shit. They are releasing sub par models and that too closed source and that too pricing it similar to seedance 2. Not sure who there target audience are.

They promised open source release and didn't follow through. Now that we got MiniMax H3, they need to release this as open source to be competitive.

Damn! Chinese models are just releasing thick and fast. Incredible what those labs are doing. Been loving h3 and seedance ofc, but v excited to get back to testing Wan models.

From what I know from Alibaba, they don't plan to open-source it (yet?). But it still looks promising, it's always good to have more competitors.
