I would have launched this without the flashy trailer I’d rather have seen a video that doesn’t involve dancing on a perf boost software, and it should be front and center that this was made with AI. Programs like these can cause long lasting issues with windows as the AI usually doesn’t know what it’s doing.

I agree with the video portion. However the claims that its all ai are incorrect, i keep telling people that i use claude in IDE for code completions. Coding assistants are an industry standard these days for developers, especially in my other field of access control. Theres a difference between typing into a prompt to code everything, and knowing what youre doing, coding for yourself, and having a tool help label/complete larger code portions for you. It was used as a time saver, not a creative engine

Okay maybe not the entire thing is AI it still should be said front and center, and imo I have a personal gripe with electron, and I think it’s a worse plague then AI.

Aside from the fact this lights up vulnerability scanners like a goddamn christmas tree, it doesn’t seem to be malicious; however, I could see this being used in targeted attacks due to how unfathomably insecure and vibe coded it appears to be on its face.

A lot of the whole “lighting up” stuff is dubiously flagged from pattern matching; however, I don’t ever foresee this being used as a main vector for infection. Maybe privilege escalation, but that’s only a guess At the end of the day? Is this specifically malware? Dont think so

Yea no. There is no such tool that can fix or make your system run better. Vrchat has done alot to fix and dampen problems. But the rest is on users to optimize their worlds and avatars.. No Tool will ever do that for you and no downloadable programs will either.

Thats exactly what this does, it goes through optimizations for your specific setup alone, and all the niche fixes that would normally take you hours to figure out, id know cuz thats what i did before making this. This isnt a magic vrchat booster, it just shows you the issues you never bothered to look at/fix/ or spend time figuring out through reddit threads or github repos

If you want a demo or proof then either run it yourself or have friends do so, or wait for my own demo video im compiling from users. I've personally went through the project's repo and haven't found any blatantly malicious routines. In the registry, it only reads common Windows performance keys like MMCSS, Game Mode, HAGS, power plans, etc. and Powershell is mostly used for WMI queries.

Thanks for taking the time to look through this... i am fighting for my life trying to show im not trying to steal peoples credit cards or blow up their pc 😭 Im literaly just sharing the tool i made for myself to help my stuff run better xd I run this: Ryzen 9 7950x3d 64 gigs Ddr5 5400 Rtx 4070 ti Quest pro with vritual desktop And originally vrchat wasnt using the 3d vcache cores, and i didnt know my ram speed defaulted to 2400, and thats literally what started all of this dev stuff for me, i just got tired of looking for issues everywhere in the pipeline

One thing I might add is that the live optimizer seems to spawn a new pshell for every single operation. Every cold start takes time (~300 ms) so a single persistent pshell process receiving with 'stdin' would likely help performance a lot. Then again, I just skimmed through <3

"wanna see" in the 45 seconds all i saw was a claim of going from 10fps to 40fps...there are settings in game to "fix" your fps which normally only drops due to un optimized avatars/worlds...so the only thing vrc could do to fix lag is hard restrictions or to enforce 1/2

I don't want to judge, but I really just don't see anything optimizing related in this trailer. So many effects I can't even have time to inspect UI for anything and under so many layers of flashy transitions I can't see anything that actually shows functionality.

this really does work, i dont get why people are being so fussy. im running on an rx550, i5 4590, and ddr3 ram (horrendous i know) and it actually helped performance a little and im getting less stuttering now, and it even told me what i should upgrade first when i go about that

I tried the advice it gave for me It does make small improvements but nothing groundbreaking like a max of like 3-5 fps on the 1% lows makes the gameplay feel smoother without physically upgrading hardware does help somewhat
