*WARNING BRIGHT FLASH* This issue is getting worse and idk how.

it happens almost every match for me :( what used to be a rare occurrence on only certain maps happens multiple times a match sometimes and it is various colors / larger and brighter than before.

Yeah its every killer, its a luma bug i believe.

Are you noticing an action that causes the flash or is it random?

Random, higher chsnce of happening when a transparent particle in the air is present like Henry's world breaker particles or borgo fog. I believe it has something to do with transparency Luma not set to let light pass-through on a transparent texture but it's a hunch. Happens especially when converting ue4 projects to ue5.

when researching a solution to this bug I found this, if you're trying to find a source of it as well it may prove useful?

One of the comments was on about volumetric translucent shadows, and it causing the issue. I have also played Vampire the masquerade bloodlines 2 which is a ue4 project converted to ue5 and it runs into the same green/pink flash effect on a snowy environment so that gives more things to look for causes?

@FleurOxetine incase you hadn't seen this yet, it may be a pinpoint in the instance this user is correct.

I see those blue and purple flashes on survivor and killer.. I swear it's not a bug but it's the previous Masquerade host.. Tryks I think was her name? Trying to force her way back into the Fog. She has a debt to settle with the entity for ditching her services.

I had same thing but it was constantly on screen and not sporadic like on your vid. Switching graphic setting from ultra to high eliminated it for me. I cant play in ultra since update from last 2v8(W bhvr).
