Election Commission is the BJP, and BJP is the Election Commission. There should be no doubt about it whatsoever. A letter was issued by the Election Commission with BJP's stamp. After much furore, the Election Commission admitted the mistake and suspended the officer involved. But then, the same Election Commission sent notices through the Kerala Police to those who had shared the letter on social media. If the mistake had been accepted, then what is the point of notices issued to all? This is clear proof of a nexus between the BJP and the LDF in Kerala. I want to ask three questions first, which will make it very clear that the BJP is directing and using the Election Commission to damage India's democracy. ❓ Why is it that the CJI was removed from the selection panel of the Election Commissioner? What motivation could there be to remove the CJI? Do we not believe in the CJI? Of course, we believe in the CJI. Why is he not in that room? I sit in that room. It is a so-called democratic decision. On one side, PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah. On the other side, the leader of the opposition. I have no voice in that room. What they decide is what happens. So, why are the Prime Minister and Amit Shah so keen on choosing exactly who the Election Commissioner is going to be? ❓ This is a devastating one. No Prime Minister has done this in the history of India. In December 2023, this government changed the law. They changed the law to make sure that no Election Commissioner could be punished for any action they take while they are Election Commissioners. Why would the Prime Minister and Home Minister give this gift of immunity to the Election Commissioner? Why would they need to give this tremendous gift that no prime minister has ever given before to the election commissioner? ❓ Why was the law with regard to CCTVs and the data that they contain changed? Why was a law put in place that allows the Election Commission to destroy CCTV footage 45 days after the election? What is the need? The answer given is that it is a question of data. After I shared a video in which TMC’s Sagardighi candidate Byron Biswas admitted that TMC candidates in Sagardighi, Farakka, Jangipur, and Shamsherganj are losing, he has now issued a threat, claiming he spoke “emotionally” and saying he will file a case against me. Notably, he has not denied his remarks even once or called the video fake. Now, watch this video. He is openly threatening the state police, using abusive and uncivil language, telling them they are agents of the state government and should not work for Delhi. He goes so far as to warn that if they act on the directions of the Election Commission of India, they will be thrown out of West Bengal and forced to live in Delhi. In a clear attempt at intimidation, he claims that since the police draw salaries from the state government, they must follow their (read TMC’s) instructions. This is unacceptable in a democracy. I expect the West Bengal police across the state to act with neutrality and uphold the rule of law. This clip is amazing. If future generations study the fake news and how it operated, they should start with this clip. This is fake news, reporting on a story by fake news that claims the President isn't taking previously reported fake news seriously. In 2017 The Washington Post ran story after story about the severity and scope of the "Russian election interference," all based on leaks and quotes from corrupt intelligence community members. Brennan, Clapper, Comey... Former CIA Director Michael Hayden told The Washington Post that Russia's election interference was equivalent to 9/11. After Trump correctly claimed that Russia had no effect on the outcome of the 2016 election, The Washington Post ran another blockbuster story. This time corrupt intelligence community members told the WP that Trump was ignoring their reports (which were lies to begin with).
