In June 2024, I began reporting a local high school story for the Fairfax County Times Pearl Project with sports reporter G, and it became Virginia’s biggest youth sports scandal: controversial recruiting practices at Hayfield Secondary School in Fairfax County Virginia that led to a wider community reckoning on the issue of integrity in sports and calls for the resignation of fcpssupt Michelle Reid for her mishandling of the case. A Transgender student at a High School in Riverside, California has assaulted a girl after exposing his genitals and spitting at girls in the girls locker room. According to a student witness, the transgender boy entered the girls locker room and after being confronted for being in there, spat at a group of girls and exposed his penis to them. “He spit on my friends that are girls, females. Three years ago, in May 2022, Enoch Burke was commanded by the then Principal Niamh McShane to use the "they" pronoun for a 3rd year student. Very shortly after making that demand, Principal McShane (who had commenced a Stage 4 disciplinary process against Enoch Burke) left the school to become a Principal in Bandon, County Cork. She was replaced as Principal by Mr Frank Milling. Mr Milling treated Enoch Burke very badly. For turning up to work, he was shouted at, mocked, and humiliated. All the while Mr Milling was persistent in his promotion of LGBT in the school. In 2023, when Enoch Burke lay in a prison cell, unjustly, Frank Milling was posing at the school with the transgender pride flag and posting it up on the school's social media. Frank Milling has now been given a job with the NCCA - the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment - the official state body that advises the Minister for Education (Helen McEntee) on what young people should be learning in school. Mr Milling’s appointment follows on from an alarming video sent to the school by the Fine Gael leader last year, at which point Enoch Burke had been languishing in prison for over 400 days, where Simon Harris specifically thanked Mr Milling in his role as School Principal. 📍 WARNER, OK - High School Students Learn How To Build A House From The Ground Up! A dozen students in a construction class at Warner High School have completed a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home, which is now for sale. The school district is accepting sealed bids for the home at 1003 E 5th Avenue in Warner, with a minimum bid of $210,000. The bids will be opened on May 15th. Teacher Ira Jackson returned to the classroom after retiring to teach the hands-on work. “The goal of the program is to produce students who can read a tape measure and understand the basics of carpentry and building, and move on from there,” he said. Several students already have job offers after working alongside licensed trades workers during construction. Ethan Atkerson, a Warner High School senior, said he helped with cabinetry, guttering and lighting, and is certain he’ll pursue a career in construction. “I’ve loved doing every part of this,: he said. “It’s all been enjoyable to me. I like being able to work with my hands, and this is something that I can work with my hands and look at the work and think, I did that, I’m proud of that.” Every high school in America should be doing this!

Teacher Ira Jackson returned to the classroom after retiring to teach the hands-on work. “The goal of the program is to produce students who can read a tape measure and understand the basics of carpentry and building, and move on from there,” he said. Several students already have job offers after working alongside licensed trades workers during construction. Ethan Atkerson, a Warner High School senior, said he helped with cabinetry, guttering and lighting, and is certain he’ll pursue a career in construction. “I’ve loved doing every part of this,: he said. “It’s all been enjoyable to me. I like being able to work with my hands, and this is something that I can work with my hands and look at the work and think, I did that, I’m proud of that.” Every high school in America should be doing this!
