Scott MacFarlane reports that Democracy Forward has formally demanded the Trump administration preserve all records related to Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against his own IRS. That lawsuit was abruptly dismissed before a federal judge could determine whether it was a collusive attempt to use the courts to bless a taxpayer-funded payout. Democracy Forward CEO Skye Perryman says the newly created fund is “completely unlawful” and that legal action is coming. As Perryman put it: “Preserve your documents, because we’re going to see you in court.”

Skye Perryman, CEO of Marc Elias' lawfare outfit Democracy Forward: “We want to send a message that if you are going to aid and abet a corrupt administration that is seeking to harm the American people, your name is going to be revealed. You can’t hide in this time.” More lawfare threats against political enemies as MSNOW's Capehart smiles along. Same network has been railing against politically motivated legal reprisals for two straight years. Good now, though.

.Attorney General Todd Blanche: "Every Democrat senator suddenly races to a microphone to talk about AI after being eerily silent for months... To talk about the timing of this as being nothing but an effort to influence the midterms — I shouldn't have to say this out loud. Of course it is."
