@ashleywick9 Dementia patients cannot help the "person" they have become. They can be carefully and firmly restrained. There is no need to traumatised them, as their minds often cannot understand what is happening in their every day lives. Just imagine 😔

@ashleywick9 Firstly who called the cops? The Age care facility obviously have inadequately trained staff dealing with dementia patients. How does a 95 year old get possession of a knife? If this police sergeant is experienced please elaborate what experience he has? Issuing road fines?

@ashleywick9 With this kinda illness ppl can sometimes get violent My father had dementia and we were told by the doctor he can become violent
