Welcome to Brooklyn 2024. A neighbor placed an order on Instacart , and it appears from the video footage that the delivery person noticed that it was a Jewish house from the Mezuzah, and spat on the door handle. Disgusting behavior regardless, but members of our block association all believe that this was anti-Semitism. The delivery person even took a photo after spitting. Do you see what we see in the footage? NYPD 71st Precinct

In the early morning hours, and at the request of New York University & The New School your NYPD NEWS officers cleared the illegal encampments from their properties with unparalleled professionalism, and without incident. It is clear that these protestors are organized and well funded. What is also clear is that our youth are being radicalized and in some cases have been encouraged to escalate their protests into violence. Look no further than some of the examples of inflammatory signage and literature. The radicalization is real. We proudly defend everyone’s right to exercise the first amendment, but lawlessness will not be tolerated. NYPD NEWS Jessica S. Tisch NYPD Chief of Department Tania Kinsella NYPD Chief of Patrol

NYPD Chief of Department Mike LiPetri stated the NYPD has been planning this July 4th weekend for two years and the plan they came up with is every member of the NYPD who is available to work will be working. It’s a very strategic plan that is beyond us mere mortals comprehension brought to you by the same brilliant minds that “planned” the response to civil unrest each game of the Knicks championship run. What could go wrong? Trust The DSA Public Safety Team

According to the NYPD, outside of Gracie Mansion, at 11:00 am est two protests, one initial and the other a counter protest, took place. During this protest an individual identified as Amir Balat, lit and threw an improvised explosive device, fit with nuts and bolts at protesters that landed near NYPD officers and extinguished itself. After, Balat ran to another individual, Ibrahim Nick, grabbed another device and dropped the device without it going off. After examination from the bomb squad, the nuts, bolts, and screws, along with a hobby fuse were discovered. The NYPD claims that as of right now they do not know if any “energetic material” was included in the makeup of the devices. The NYPD says that there is no indication that the use of the devices is connected to the ongoing operations against Iran. The devices are still being examined and the investigation is ongoing.

"The Jewish question" is a well known, antisemitic dog whistle due to its historical association with the mass persecution of the Jewish people, including during the Holocaust. Watching Jesse Watters traffic in that language on national television - and then laugh when called out - was disturbing, and he must apologize immediately. This rhetoric is becoming far too normalized in society and there is no excuse for using this language with such a hateful history.

BREAKING: The NYPD is now investigating a stabbing as a possible hate crime after two men, one Asian, one Jewish, were injured in what witnesses describe as an unprovoked attack. Victims and witnesses say the 51-year-old attacker yelled “Allahu Akbar” during the stabbings. And the NYPD commissioner is suggesting mental health may have been a factor. Of course.
