Warren Buffett Explains Why He Prefers Stocks Over Real Estate

He has said many times the only reason he didn’t buy up everything in the 2008 crash is because he didn’t have a way to manage it all RE is clean wealth and leverage it will never compare to stocks

Real estate can build wealth, but Buffett prefers owning great businesses that generate cash, require little oversight, and can compound for decades.

i recently realized that Buffett's success is genius = simplicity he simply picked a strategy and stuck with it for over 50 years the fact that he hates hedge funds and says a simple S&P 500 index is far more profitable - that's what really got me

Buffett's a legend but he's never walked a gutted house with no HVAC and turned it into a five figure profit. I've done it over 100 times. I like picking my own comps, hiring my own contractors, and controlling the outcome myself. Hard to do that with a stock ticker.
