#Warriors fans … brace yourselves.

Here comes the Warriors PR machine, conveniently sprinkling blame everywhere except on one of the biggest enablers in the organization: Steph Curry himself. Imagine what this franchise could’ve been if Steph had the balls to stand up to Kerr, Draymond, and the front office instead of watching them sabotage Wiseman and JK’s development, undermine Poole, screw over Klay and Looney, mishandle KD, and treat Wiggins like disposable garbage, even while he was navigating personal issues. At some point, leadership requires more than making threes, collecting rings, and protecting your image. Silence is complicity when you have the influence to demand better. The Warriors didn’t just lose their magic. They lost their integrity, and the magic disappeared right along with it.

I’m far from Warriors PR. But I do agree that if Curry had rattled his saber, and been less of a good guy, the front office would’ve been compelled to do more. Curry is guilty of loyalty, which is hard for me to score as a demerit. Dunleavy is guilty of being a terrible yes man for Lacob. That’s the problem here. Not Steph.

It’s actually not a tough pill to swallow anymore when we all know we’ve been dealt with the ineptitude of a first time GM being stringed along by the real maestro behind closed doors Joe Lacob. Front office is full of yes man and nepo babies who aren’t good at their jobs. 🤣

I disagree w this As a GS fan, Id "enjoy" Curry if he's in the playoffs playing for an Eastern conf team. Not getting smoked all season and going home in April. That makes me sad for him
