Friendly reminder that the Soviets told the Polish resistante “rise up, we will back you up!” Only to stop their offensive at the Vistula and let the Germans crush the entire home army,all in order to ensure any form of anti-soviet forces would be non-existent once they took over

The Russians cynically waited for many Poles to be killed when they could have easily taken the city and spared Polish lives. It's not hard to understand the hatred the Poles have for both the Russians and Germans.

Interesting, at :37 soldiers are using a British Piat anti-tank weapon. Not sure if they're insurgents or German auxiliaries.
