This is a modern ship, can’t even imagine going thru this with in 1600s with what they had back then.

The Swedish warship Vasa sank in 1628 less than a mile on its maiden voyage and was raised from the seabed after 333 years, almost completely intact. Now housed in the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, it is the best-preserved 17th-century ship in the world.

FABULOUS! This wave is called Chicama, it appears at a single point on the Peruvian coast and is the only wave in the world that is protected by law. Nothing can be built within a radius of two kilometers from this place so as not to affect its natural formation.
