Such an easy target for portable air defence missiles or AA guns. Low and slow aircraft like the A10 are worthless in modern warfare. They rarely ever use the cannon they are mainly use air to ground missiles which other aircraft can do just as well if not better.

the F–35 is nothing but a toy, not capable of replacing the A–10
