Spartans, it's been a year since our TGE, you can find your 52w lockdrop LP on your wallets!🔥 It's the best day to unfold another chapter of our story: ⚔️SPARTA 3.0⚔️ 🔥No Inflation! We're burning all unvested $SPARTA (+60% of supply)! 🏆Leaderboard! 💰New IDOs Details👇 --- 🔥BURN🔥 We are Spartans, we have no fear 🛡️ Burning +60% of the supply is bold, but it is the only path to end inflation. How will this process look? 🟠 SpartaDEX is one of the few self-sustaining projects. That’s why we are burning the Team, Marketing, Development, and Operational pools. 🟠 As we have sold only 3.5% of $SPARTA in Angel and DAO Maker Rounds, we are free from investor pressure. Moreover, most of these pools have already been unlocked. 🟠 We’re also burning the remaining part of Ecosystem Rewards pool. Instead, SpartaDEX users will have a chance to compete for even better rewards thanks to the Leaderboard. 🟠 The only part that can't be burned is the remaining 0.35% of supply from the DAO Maker pool. Although it’s a tiny amount and distributed across many wallets. 🟠 The supply of $SPARTA is steadily decreasing due to the unstaking mechanisms. Users who choose a cooldown period shorter than 110 days are subject to up to a 50% commission, which is entirely burned. This is the plan, but the final decision will be made through decentalized governance proposal to ensure Sparta Community agrees with it. You will find the link in the comment below. --- 🏆LEADERBOARD🏆 Being a warrior is a constant journey to becoming the best of the best ⚔️ Climb to the top of the Leaderboard and fight for the airdrop of Linea token! 🟡 The leaderboard will go live in the first half of August. 🟡 Earn points on the Leaderboard by adding LP, grinding the Senate level, using the DEX, and collecting NFTs! More details about the points system will be provided in one of future posts. 🟡 Moving on to the rewards: We, as SpartaDEX, are on our way to secure an airdrop from the Linea ecosystem. If successful, half of the awarded pool will be allocated as the main reward for the Leaderboard participants. 🟡 Moreover, for the last time, rewards in the form of staked $SPARTA tokens will be paid out from the surplus saved from the Marketing/Development pools. --- 💰SPARTAPAD IDOs💰 🟤 During the last few weeks, our team has been working hard to secure new contacts, build strong business relationships, and establish a solid market presence. 🟤 Now, as we're slowly witnessing a return of positive sentiment in the market, our hustle has paid off, and you can expect the comeback of IDOs on SpartaPad! 🟤 Soon, we will start announcing the projects that will be featured with us in August! Stay tuned, Spartans! --- ℹ️ You can find detailed information in the new Medium post! The link is in the comments. --- The Troy Event, opening the chapter of SPARTA 3.0, will be extraordinary even on a global crypto scale! 🌐 Over the past year, SpartaDEX has become a thriving and profitable ecosystem, placing us in a position to take bold and radical actions improving the protocol’s economy. For us Spartans, the well-being of our people and the long-term vision of success are of the utmost importance. That is why we tirelessly work to ensure that through our deeds and dedication, we ultimately achieve the glory of victory. This is not over. We are Sparta. We are here to stay ⚔️

The Blood of Dawnwalker | Details ▪️New single player third-person fantasy action RPG ▪️Started development over 2 years ago in Unreal Engine 5, full gameplay reveal coming in Summer 2025 ▪️Led by former Witcher 3 game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz and ex-Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz ▪️Focused on "narrative sandbox", no two playthroughs will be identical ▪️Takes place in 'Vale Sangora' in 14th century medieval Europe ▪️The setting has been ravaged by plague, famine and social disorder ▪️Inspired by Eastern European architecture and culture, Polish log houses, Ukrainian and Balkan clothing, 'Romanian defensive churches', and more ▪️The world has been watched by vampires in the shadows waiting to strike and make their move when humanity is at its lowest and to overthrow the feudal lords ▪️Day/night cycle plays a big role, wanted the world and villages and buildings to 'feel like a different place' after sunset ▪️You play as Coen, energetic, becomes a 'dawnwalker' (not human, not vampire, something in between), can traverse both worlds of humanity and creatures of the night ▪️You fight with swords and weapons by day, and can use vampire abilities in combat at night, explore the environment, etc ▪️You have 30 in-game days and 30 nights to save your family, wanted a sense of urgency. When you complete an objective/quest, time moves forward. But time doesn't pass in real world time, you can 'manage' how you use time as a resource ▪️You meet many characters throughout the game with their own goals and ambitions, which may make you friends or put you in opposition to them ▪️Blood Hunger: Gameplay mechanic where you need to feed throughout your playthrough ▪️If you talk to someone and have gone long without feeding first, you might lose control and eat them, even 'your best friend' in the game ▪️Vampire design: In this world, the vampire's teeth don't stop growing, so the older vampires have a lot of teeth. Aren't visible at first, can extend as their mouths open ▪️Vampires are led by Brencis -a super powerful old vampire that wants to change the world, twisted old religious beliefs and took advantage of social turmoil to turn himself into a sort of messianic figure ▪️The vampire leadership aren't black and white, but more gray, as they overthrew violent and corrupt feudal lords, but also kill people to eat, conduct blood masses at church, etc ▪️Brencis is a sort of 'active antagonist' that will react to your actions and decisions, will set edicts in the game that will become obstacles to the player like military checkpoints, etc Full Cinematic and Gameplay Teaser ▶️

I played Clair Obscur Expedition 33 for 60+ hours, defeated all the superbosses and here is my review: -2 graphic modes on PS5 -Many options (Motion Blur, Film Grain, Chromatic Aberration and more) -Played the game on the PS5 in performance mode -Solid 60fps with great picture quality -Very fast loading times -Minimal hud design -Played on the normal difficulty (was just right) -You can change the difficulty anytime (up and down) -The visuals and art direction in this game are insane, trust me -Every new location looks stunning and tells a story -The art direction is so unreal but also so authentic at the same time, stunnig work, the art director should get a raise for this -THE VOICE ACTING is also top tier, every character is brought to life with so much passion and love -The dialogue quality is also amazing and really reminded me of Naughty Dog games -How the characters behave and communicate with each other is simply lifelike -The characters also have complex personalities -Some very dark themes and overall a very mature story (death/loss, love, swearing, blood and gore) -The story is amazing and remains exciting until the very end -Some insane "holy shit" story moments -The game is more linear with some open zones and one massive overworld -I would compare it to Final Fantasy 10 in a very good way -There are also some beautiful fixed camera angles that took me right back to that time -The best overworld map out there, the size is MASSIVE and full of content (hidden areas, superbosses, shortcuts, lore and more) -You can camp everywhere on the map -Camp is your hub that will change overtime (extra dialogue, new NPCs, side content, listen to music and more) -You can level up your relationships with various characters -Romances are also a thing -Exploration is very rewarding, no minimap works great -Dedicated jump button and no fall damage is a huge win -There are so many cool things to collect -The game will respect your time, no long walks and good checkpoints -New outfits and weapons will look different (also in cutscenes) -You can skip cutscenes before boss attempts -The combat is super fun and a mix of Persona, Final Fantasy 10 and Legend of Dragoon -One button press combat is just stunning and will flow over time -You can see every enemy before the fight, quick in and out -Some of the boss fights are gigantic with insane attacks and some stunning "From Software boss arenas" (no joke) -The enemy variety is great with some terrifying creature design -The build variety is also crazy with so many combinations -Some of the late game bosses and especially the superbosses are no joke -Soundtrack is insane and every track is a banger -Different battle themes, boss themes, secret boss themes and many more -Some of the tracks especially in the emotional scenes hit me so hard -Game is super polished but I've encountered some small bugs (sound disappear, could no longer jump and some other small things) -Bugs got easy fixed with a reload (day 1 patch could fix that) -Not a fan of some jumping puzzles, but there are optional -Skill management becomes a little bit confusing as the game progresses (menu design could be better) -Would love a mechanic to kill lower level enemies fast and quick -New game plus on day 1 (with extra stuff) is amazing -The game is made by around 30 people, 30 hours of main story, 30 hours of bonus content, insane number of outfits, story focused, no microtransactions bullshit, new game plus mode on day 1 and a price tag of around 50 bucks, need I say more This game is brimming with attention to detail and is a true passion project by fans for fans. The developers may not have had the biggest budget, but they had a clear vision and the result is simply outstanding. My Verdict: 9.5/10 #ClairObscurExpedition33 Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Shuhei Yoshida

Stargate Trivia: Casting Stargate: Atlantis While SG-1 was my first love (We were together for seven years!), my time on Atlantis proved equally memorable. The show was possessed of a similar tone in its mix of high adventure and humor, yet proved distinct in its exploration of Ancient mythology and an unfamiliar galaxy as seen through the eyes of a new set of heroes. Atlantis offered a sense of wonder and camaraderie born of isolation and constant danger. Whereas team SG-1 could always go home at the conclusion of their adventures, the members of the Atlantis expedition (at least for those first few seasons) could only draw comfort from the city of Atlantis itself – and, of course, each other. It was unique and compelling yet, at the same time, comfortingly familiar. Nowhere is this more evident than in its opening theme, composed by the late Joel Goldsmith, which is, at turns fresh, haunting, stirring and, throughout, discernibly Stargate. Stargate: Atlantis wasn’t envisioned as a companion to Stargate: SG-1. It was intended to replace the long-running series. The only problem was, with eight seasons under its belt, SG-1 wasn’t quite done yet. And fans (and the network) weren’t done with it either. And so, instead of passing the torch and segueing to a new Stargate series, we ended up producing both. In retrospect, it was quite an achievement: 40 hours of television! Today's productions can barely manage a third that output, but Stargates SG-1 and Atlantis delivered two fantastic 40 episode seasons before SG-1 took it’s final bow. It wasn’t easy, but it was certainly made easier by all of the enormously talented individuals who made it happen, from the office staff and crew to the cast and my fellow writer/producers. Still, it was not without its challenges. Take casting, for instance. It may surprise you to know that, when it comes to producing a show, not everybody cares about costumes or set design or whether the script’s fifth act denouement is emotionally satisfying - but everybody, and I do mean EVERYBODY, has an opinion on casting. Studio and network execs, producers, hell, even your significant other peering over your shoulder as you screen the auditions on your home computer, will want to weigh in. Of course, the more voices in the mix the more likely there are to be disagreements. So it is with every production and Atlantis was no different. Different individuals envisioned these characters in very different ways and, as a result, consensus was only achieved after many auditions, calls-backs, heated discussions, and not-so-gentle reminders that our start date was fast-approaching and we really needed someone to say the lines on camera. The part of Carson Beckett was one of the first we cast. The other producers were in Rob’s office, screening the first batch of local auditions when Brad called me in and told me to check out the guy onscreen. I hadn’t imagined Beckett with a Scottish accent but, after watching Paul McGillion in the role, I couldn’t imagine him without one. He’d brought something unexpected to the part, something we all responded to. Elizabeth Weir was not an easy character to pull off. She had to be smart, confident and strong yet needed to exude a certain warmth and empathy we were looking for in the civilian leader of the expedition. When it came time to (re)casting the role, several established names were considered (One had her own hit genre show back in the day while another went on to break out on a hit show soon after), but it was Torri Higginson who managed to strike just the right balance and vault her name to the top of the list. The role of Teyla Emmagan was a tough one to cast. Like Weir, she needed to be a strong, empathetic leader. But she also required something even more important – quite literally, an other-worldly quality that made her unique. Some equally talented actresses auditioned for the role but, as good as they were, they were never quite able to achieve that gravitas Rachel pulled off with such grace and seeming ease. Former VJ Rainbow Sun Francks won the role of Lieutenant Ford on the strength of a great audition, preceded by an equally great audition with a funny hat. I recall Brad Wright on the phone with our casting agent, advising him to ensure there would be no hat worn in the callback for fear the network would fixate on it. There wasn't, they didn't, and Rainbow delivered. The role of John Sheppard was the second to last one cast. It came right down to the wire and there were several candidates in play. The character was originally envisioned as a good ole southern boy, so it only made sense that Ben Browder’s name was bandied about early. However, he was too busy shooting Peacekeeper Wars to warrant consideration. A number of other actors were considered (one went on to play the lead in a hugely popular show the following year while another made his mark as a handsome heart throb on another hugely popular medical series) but it was Joe Flanigan who won the part based on his ability to pull off the devil-may-care attitude Brad and Robert were looking for. We come to the final role cast, a character who, in many ways, embodied everything Atlantis was about: exploration, discovery, fun, humor, and seat-of-your-pants-Holy-Sh&%-how-the-hell-am-I-going-to-get-out-of-this-adventure. And, as I mentioned in a previous post, he almost didn’t make the trip to Pegasus. Originally, the casting call went out for a completely different character, an earnest young doctor who would lend the team much-needed medical support on their off-world ventures. Unfortunately, no one could agree on who that actor should be. If the casting of Sheppard went down to the wire, then the casting of this final role went a step past it. Finally, days away from production, Robert Cooper had an idea: Forget the doctor character. Why not use an established character from SG-1? How about Rodney McKay? The writers were on board, but some executives weren't weren’t sold on the idea. They found him annoying! Hell yeah, but he’d be sooo much fun to write for! Rob got on the phone and went to bat for Rodney, pointing out that the character had come a long way since first being introduced way back in SG-1’s 48 Hours. He’d evolved, going from annoying jerk to endearingly irritating. To this day, I’m convinced that they weren’t totally convinced but, with production poised to commence, they relented, I suppose figuring they could just replace the character somewhere down the line. No one, even those who loved the idea of having the endearingly irritating Rodney McKay on board could have predicted how hugely popular the character would become.

The more you see Nigeria, the less any of it makes sense. There was a time when honesty & honor meant something, that country is long gone, but we can dream again. Nigerians are incarcerated. In prison, people gravitate toward the person that people have the most respect for. You cultivate friendships that will protect you. That is the case in Nigeria, everyone is looking for sanctuary. But the good thing about miracles is that they do happen. One day, Nigerians will finally get the focused leadership they deserve. People love a good story, & everyone is looking for heroes, someone to believe in. I got too much experience with pain. The last election was a battle, & I was deeply attached. I am proud that I was part of it. It changed me though. Nigeria can make you feel so big, yet so small. Your country has changed, & generally for the worse. But I will continue to fight for all the good stuff. I don’t think the Agbados are humans, no one made a medical examination. They are like hyenas in the wild, hyenas have this characteristic foolishness that slap. "The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him." Niccolo Machiavelli told me this..” They will pay one of us to kill one of us, just to say it was one of us." Malcolm X was the little bird. Nothing was ever handed to people on a platter. You have to reach out & grab it. The French did, Russians did. Germans, the Chinese, Austro-Hungarians, the Serbs. All around the world, the proletariat rose from the ashes to demand for their rights. People grew tired of the system & they acted with one voice. Fear makes bad decisions, stick to the plan. And when they come for you, fight back. Cowering makes it even worse. Know that no one is coming to save you. Only Nigerians will love Nigeria enough to save it. As for Peter Obi, he gave Nigerians a reason to smile & be beautiful again. He’s got his own sound, there is a ring to it. Obi is our fiduciary, more like a father. We are the legatees of his great promise. When you promise to take care of someone, you become their father. But it's not easy to repeat success. 2023 was great, but winning was better. That year was WOW! A gastronomic extravaganza. The triumph of good over evil. We were tired of waiting at the table, so we built our own. What a way to make a name for ourselves. Now our courage is around back, we have to get it back. The other camp act like A students, but a lot can happen in 2027. Between the A & E students, the most dangerous are the B. Near to greatness, but not enough great to reach it. Destined to be number two. But A students become comfortable, they relax. Pride is their first sin. That election is still fresh on our mind. There was this loud triumphal tone to it. A sort of trumpety-relentlessness & surging-uplifting energy, you could almost feel the echo. We’ve played the heroes for so long, sometimes we forget we are kids. We are the true definition of Nigerian heroes. We sipped into the consciousness of everyone who dared to listen. We know how to conjure up & orchestrate heroic melodies. Our music is young, we somehow know how to put it together. We burst into the scene & everything changed. Suddenly, everyone was listening to our sound. Nigerians started to notice us in 2022. We took an already existing camaraderie & sort of reconfigured it to our style. Our melody was subtle yet loud, it’s heard to this day even. We are creating the vibes that have the touch of patriotism & heroism. Our motifs are very evocative & sublime, in a very moody way. And that is the versatility of our movement. The ability to take on anything & weave it into something larger than it appears. Obidients are like lilies. “A flower may die, the best of bloom in the meadows may be no more. But although dirt is thrown at them & water falls on them, still they rise beautifully & defiant with bright colors to dazzle your dreams.” A New Nigeria is POsssible. 😭💪

Check out our latest #Earth2 #creation the #MotorwayMarauder🌍✌️From #ConceptArt to #gameready, gives me #MadMax & #Terminator vibes - love it! Some #IMPORTANT things to remember about #Earth2 #drops leading up to #E2V1👇 1⃣Acquiring #skins is completely optional 2⃣ Notably, the #skins we drop leading up to the #E2V1 release will more likely have a ‘Limited Supply’, something that rewards our early supporters with increased rarity. These Limited Supply drops will become less frequent in the future being replaced with drops of unlimited supply but restricted availability requiring Players to wait for a skin to become available in the skin store or hope to acquire it via game play inside #E2V1 3⃣ Our goal is not to have these early #skin drops sell out during their maiden release, but rather provide an opportunity for our early supporters to secure skins they like at a discounted price with the welcoming guarantee of an all time Limited Supply. 4⃣ Most of the early #skin drops will naturally allow #Players to resell them, but importantly many will also be assigned with a once ever discount rate. #Skins that have Future Price Reduction assigned with “No” means that if the #skin does not sell out on its maiden drop and subsequently gets listed in store again at a future date, #Earth2 will never resell that #skin at any discounted rate. 5⃣ #Earth2 is building a modular clothing system, meaning that most items of clothing, especially if sold separately, will be interchangeable on avatars making them more useful and giving the #Player more ways to mix up their outfits, look the part & express themselves. 6⃣ The version of the skin you see in store is the base version you receive with the skin, however, there will also be opportunities to tailor outfits in game allowing for the adjustment in fabrics, prints, colours and more (be prepared for a little legwork though, unless you want to take your clothing items to another #Player who specialises in tailoring). 7⃣ #Earth2 is proud to have uniquely designed the #skins you listed in our store & it is important to remember that these #skins are the end result of a long and stringent internal character pipeline we have developed. Each skin starts from concept art which is reviewed and iterated on numerous times before being approved. Once approval is given, it is handed to our 3D modelling team for sculpting into high poly, then low poly, while receiving numerous reviews and adhering to our pipeline protocols. When the low poly version is finished, the 3D team then finishes with UV mapping and texture baking and runs their own QA process. Once the entire 3D sculpting process is approved, the models enter the skinning, rigging and weight painting process and are then passed to the animation team for further testing with various animations and another set of QA such as minimising clipping and identifying any other potential flaws in the model. The model then needs to go through the final process with a game developer to ensure it passed the final tests and is game ready for #E2V1. 8⃣ The above steps only represent a light explanation of our character and clothing pipeline, but as you can see we’re not simply selling static concept art images or a high poly 3D model that lacks any kind of optimisations resulting in little chance of it ever being game ready in its advertised state - there is a lot of work that takes place in order to get these skins to the stage our #Players see them in the video footage. Each skin sold helps support different parts of the development of Earth 2 providing us with new opportunities to further expand our team, speed up development and keep stepping closer to our short and long term goals for #E2V1 and #Earth2. 9⃣ We understand that fashion will become a big part of the #Metaverse, but we want to remind people that while some #Players may decide to set rules for certain skins being required for access or a ticket to entry under certain circumstances, from #Earth2’s perspective these skins are for cosmetic purposes only. 🔟 These skin drops also give #Earth2 the chance to show off our ability and versatility in avatar creation and accessories so even if you’re not keen on picking up a skin, remember to have fun and simply enjoy the progress! Also take heart every time you see a #skindrop, if the #E2V1 pre-alpha was not launching this year I wouldn't be dropping skins. We want to have at least some diversity for #avatars inside #E2V1 from the early stages! #Earth2 #Metaverse #Skins #Fashion #Collectibles #3DWorld #WIP #prealpha2024

Bill Ackman: "I turned an $8B railroad company into $25B in 16 months" "My father, he's here, that's Dad over there in the corner, he told me it's a really dumb idea to start an investment fund right out of business school. He recommended I go work for Michael Steinhardt or George Soros or one of the other famous investors at the time." But Ackman didn't listen: "I figured I knew enough. This is the perils of youth. But the answer is, I was an entrepreneur. I felt I wanted to approach investing my own way, as opposed to learning from someone else. And investing is one of the few things you can really learn on your own. You can learn by reading books, reading annual reports. You can have a portfolio and invest $100 and learn the business, unlike many other businesses which require a lot more." He shares how he started: "I went to business school to learn how to be a good investor. I learned the first rule of investing: you do your due diligence before you wire in your money. When I got to Harvard Business School, I opened the course catalog for the first time, and there wasn't a class on investing. So I decided to develop my own self-study program." Ackman opened a brokerage account with his savings: "I had some money I'd made in the real estate brokerage business. This was my tuition in the investment business about a year of tuition. If I lost it, it was as if I had gone to business school for two years but paid for three. The first stock I bought went up, and I said, 'Okay, I found what I want to do.'" He explains how investing has changed: "The vast majority of capital invested in the markets today is passive index funds, ETFs, long-only institutions. You do your research, or in some cases you don't do the research; you just blindly follow an index. But if you think about investing 100 years ago, you had Andrew Carnegie owning 20% of U.S. Steel. You had J.P. Morgan as a large owner of various companies. In the old days, an owner would act like an owner. If they were unhappy with the performance of the business, they would replace the CEO. If they were unhappy with the board's judgment, they would make changes." Ackman describes what his firm does: "We look for situations where a business has lost its way. An otherwise great company in a business with significant barriers to entry, what Warren Buffett would describe as having a moat around it. A business that is simple, predictable, generates cash, and we can be confident will be here 50 years from now." He shares the Canadian Pacific story: "We owned a stake in Canadian Pacific, a railroad in Canada. It's a business where they're not going to build a new one across the street. You can be pretty comfortable that goods will be shipped on rail for a very long time. This was the worst-run railroad in North America. Lowest profit margins. Lowest valuation relative to earnings. Very unhappy shareholder base. But there was nothing they could do about it because the biggest investors tend to be very passive." Ackman saw the opportunity: "If you could replace the worst CEO in the railroad industry with the best CEO in the railroad industry, a lot of money could be made. We bought 14% of the stock. We recruited a guy named Hunter Harrison, widely considered the best railroad executive of all time. He had retired at 65. He was 66 and a half. He had signed a two-year non-compete with his employer, and I think the biggest mistake they made was a two-year non-compete." They hired him as a consultant first: "He had plenty of fire in his belly. We said, 'Would you be interested in the day job?' He said, 'Let me check with my wife.' She said, 'It's time to get you out of the house again.'" But the board didn't want him: "Canadian Pacific had one of the most esteemed boards in Canada, former head of the Royal Bank of Canada, former CEO of Suncor Energy, former head of the steel business. They didn't like the idea that this was coming from outside the company. So they said no." Ackman went to the shareholders: "We ran an election, a proxy contest. We put up seven directors for seven seats on a 13-seat board. The shareholders voted with us 90% of the time. The other guys got between 3 and 11% of the vote. We put our directors on, did a review of the best CEOs in the world, turns out the guy we identified was the best guy, and we put him in as CEO." The result: "That was 16 months ago. It's now almost the most profitable railroad in North America. The stock went from $46 to $151 a share. From a little under $8 billion market cap to a $25 billion market cap. That's the perfect example. Now it doesn't always work that way."
