Seems like a real stretch to me. Like when Jesus says you are of your father the devil in John 8:44 He's making a statement about them spiritually, not who literally "fathered" them. You should try using the Greek Septuagint for the OT not the Hebrew. You are using Greek for your NT. If you go down that path you'll find that more often than not the direct quotes from the new testament are aligned with the Greek Septuagint, and even the dead sea scrolls agree with the Septuagint vs the MT.
