was curious how those rainbow gifs worked, figured out the trick

image buffer then 1/3 of it for the RGB rendered stencils overlayed? and maybe substract the current image. how close am i?

something like that, the subtraction is key. although here in this example I have 30 or so frames of "buffer" and colored every 10 in r/g/b, because the dance here moves kinda too slowly
