No . Keep your hands to yourself, this is basic knowledge, especially as an adult. Put your hands on someone they have the right to retaliate. ( I don’t condone in beating women, but know that if you keep attacking someone, and they don’t strike back that’s a form of bullying?! )

she punched him first, then went for a second punch. he pushed her away first time on her attacking shoulder, second time on her opposite shoulder where she lost her balance. he never pulled back his arm to do an actual punch, he simply put his weight into his pushes.

He was 100% wrong for this. He's 3X her size, and could have easily restrained or subdued her without throwing her to the ground. It's not like she's Nyssa Al Ghul.
