let me see if i can generate some fake outrage at this (mmffff) (mmmmfffffffff) nope sorry

Not appropriate ever but especially since they couldn’t find him for 10 days. It’s not the flex they think it is, embarrassing.

No. Very unprofessional.

No,not appropriate at all,this wasn't suppose to be a picture trophy moment.☹️

He’s a bad man, a terrible criminal. But nevertheless he’s a human being not an animal. He’s not “prey” as you called him. Police did their job-what they’re paid to do. The photo bothers me.

Not appropriate, but of all the things to get upset over in life, this isn't one of them.

Very inappropriate and odd

It was stupid.

Not sure any of these are appropriate. The DA or other prosecutors love to have the “perp walk” to show an accused person in handcuffs taken into custody. Murder , white collar , doesn’t seem to matter.

No. Part of the toxicity in some law enforcement departments cultures.

No. Glad he was finally caught, and they and that hero doggo deserve credit. But that trophy photo was disturbing.

Yes why not ,shows if you commit a crime what you could be up against ,where’s the dog that caught him

Absolutely not! It's embarrassing that it took over 500 leo's 2 weeks to catch one guy. Not something to be proud of, IMHO....

@smerconish Regarding for your support of the capture “trophy” photo by PA State Police, I disagree. As a 34 year police veteran who retired from the Maryland State Police, we do not do trophy photos. This is what we’re paid to do and paid quite well. No volunteers here.

It reminded me of these abhorrent hunters who pose with the beautiful animals they kill just for the trophy. It seemed inappropriate and lurid. It wasn't exactly classy, that's for sure.

No inappropriate

Pablo Escobar

Very unprofessional.

It was totally inappropriate and shows the mindset of a lot of law enforcement these days. Not very professional. The guy wasn’t even checked out medically at that point. I’m old and grew up in a much different world. Off topic I can definitely see why Mitt Romney retired.

Hell yeah. I would've done the same thing.

Didn't look at it like that was astounded how many we had looking for him

Why not, body cams are appropriate, im told

If he wanted in Brazil & in US this guy's a criminal mind let Clint Eastwood handle the situation hang high!!

FFS. Who even cares? Ever heard of nunya?

Hell no! Just Do Your Job

Absolutely NOT!!!

"appropriate" is subjective. They captured him ALIVE, when there was a STK on his head! They captured him ALIVE! Full Disclosure: I do identify as a Conservative Democrat, if that matters. "Trophy Photos" of a fugitive captured alive- I say let them have their moment.

It took that many of them that long? Not impressed.

If he wasn’t a convicted murderer I might have an issue.

What was the value added? Was it humiliating...probably not; however, it should have been seen as embarrassing by law enfocement.

Yes - they should had Yoda, the dog that caught him lead him around on a leash! He is a CONVICTED murderer and should be treated as one!

I'm just glad the guy was finally caught. Now, the people in that area can get on with their lives.

Why would it be inappropriate?

I haven't had a chance to think about it. I guess what may be more bothersome is how that photo gets used or whether officers would inadvertently put their lives in danger.
