Saw them maybe 20 years ago… Mick Mars drives the whole show with this gnarly gritty overdriven sound that is just badass. Without him and that guitar tone, Motley Crue wouldn’t work.

I have a feeling on those last tours he was offered the dubbing but turned it down. I think he felt the most guilty about coming back to tour after their farewell tour hence why he left

I get the fact that Mick Mars had health issues and really couldn’t tour anymore. With that being said, they did a fake farewell tour and come to find out the band really doesn’t even play live they play to backing tracks. So yeah, as much as I like them I’m done seeing them live

If the band wants to play and he can't, even for health reasons, then no. At my job, if I don't go, I don't get paid. However, I think Mick was the best.
