Was randomly watching this bit from Gutsy Frog and aside from the obviously amazing animation what jumped out to me which I had never noticed before was the quality of the layouts. Most of the angles are low or high, and there's very little plain profile shots...

Which makes this scene far more technically complex than it looks even if the designs are simple I had always assumed that the A Pro comedies had pretty basic staging which they compensated through movement, but I guess I stand corrected

Well, it's just a well-known staging trick to avoid drawing all the tables and classmates.

@Petsuchan The quality of the animation lines here is absolutely jaw-dropping, this series left a deep impression when I saw it on Spanish TV back in the day. Who is the main animator here?

It's interesting to see that, as cartoony as the characters are, perspective and volume are still realistically consistent throughout. This can be seen clearly in the props of the scene like the desk, chair and book.
