Was taking a break from working when this doe walked up. Took her a few seconds to notice me. I seriously love nature. This is just one of the reasons I could never live in a city. I would miss this way too much.

This scene from her arcade mode in Rev 2 is one of the reasons i like Jam a lot, before this i thought she was just a goofy goober and nothing else.

MilkDrop 3.33 is coming out in 24 hours! Shader from Xor This one took me a few months of reflection and experimentation to get it fully working. I ended up modifying how MilkDrop works so I could feed the complete FFT data directly into the shader!

This game is WAY HARDER than it seems. I love when a simple concept is done in a FUN way that is also CHALLENGING and REWARDING. It took me too long to get 100% but it was EXCITING when I did.

I started playing with Omarchy this morning. After a little bit of use I was thinking "how much like macOS could I make this?" After a few hours of Omarchy working on itself here's where I ended up. Was a lot of fun!

I never had a teacher, and I never had lessons, other than hard Nature itself. To me the cold is like God, you could say that. I think of the cold as a noble force. It's just helping me, training me. It's bringing me back to my Inner nature the way it is meant to be. And this way I do not only endure the cold, I love the cold. Shared this more than 10 years ago on Joe Rogan podcast (ep. 712) — and it still holds to this day.

Mike Majlak reveals his craziest side quest “I got interested in taking photos. I bought this Canon camera and I remember I was taking pictures of ducks and a girl came up to me and said, I have a wedding in August. How much do you charge for wedding photography?” “I said, I'm one of the foremost wedding photographers in the city but how much would you propose giving me? She was like, I'll give you $750” “Took these terrible photos, got paid $750 and MMP Mike Majlak Photography shot it. It was branded on every photo. I took the $750 and bought a DJI Phantom 1 drone” “I started flying it at the beach and just over buildings and just recording stuff with this Phantom drone and this is a true story” “A girl came up to me and said, hey, I would love if you could do videography at my wedding. I said, sure. I'm actually the foremost drone expert on cinematography in Connecticut” “She asked how much it would cost. I said, how much do you propose? She said $3,000” “I was the first person to ever fly a drone over a wedding and I followed the groom and bride down the aisle”

Just as her tennis career was taking off, Martina Navratilova Navratilova took the extraordinary decision to defect to the US from Czechoslovakia. “It was a one-way ticket, and that was the hard part,” she tells me. “I never knew if I would ever go back.”

I read the RLM paper and it’s like, this is the simplest way to do solve a general problem, seriously it’s just this simple. Love this kind of vibe. Last one like this for me was the ReAct paper from 4 years ago, and that one defined agent we use today. I made a visualization to help understand how RLM works.

I loved this sport so much.. but it was expensive.. this gear isn’t cheap. My dad, who could be a real hardass growing up.. I told him as much when I was older, sold one of our certified heifers.. when the nx Saturday rolled around and after milking was done, took me to a massive flea market.. that day I got a complete set of used but high quality gear, skates and two sticks.. I love that man.. even though it took me a while to understand him ..

$544K PnL in August. A few years ago, my parents kicked me out. I had no idea where I was going to end up, and honestly, there were times I questioned whether any of this would work out. Trading became something I took seriously when I had nothing else to fall back on. A lot of late nights, losses, mistakes, and starting over led to this. $544K this month means a lot, but not just because of the number. I know exactly where I started.
