Was the Civil War inevitable? Wilfred McClay explains how America pulled back from the edge in 1820 and 1850, only to go over it in 1861. Slavery, secession, and the future of the Union inevitably made compromise impossible.

Actually, the Civil War wasn't started over slavery. Research and learn your history. Ron Paul explains it well.

The Civil War occurred because Lincoln decided to restore the union with force. He had no constitutional permission/duty to do so. Had he not done so, Virginia would not have seceded nor would any of the border states. The Deep South States would have maintained slavery for another generation and then given it up.
You are nothing but lies and propaganda. Nobody should waste their time reading or watching your crap.

As Civil War historian, Shelby Foote has stated, the Civil War in a sence was inevitable, as the federal government grew in power, overtaking the right of the individual states.

Lincoln made no effort to compromise.

If them Republicans would have stayed home in 1860 we would have slaves today! Damn Republicans, always making life better for everyone!

Hordes of socialist and communist "48ers" (mostly Germans) joined the Union army. They recognized a good war of consolidation when they saw one. Also, Karl Marx was a Lincoln fanboy. Says a lot.

The civil war wasn’t about slavery until the North needed more recruits!

The prager jew

I don’t get my education from juice.

Joseph Smith ran for POTUS and said he would buy all slaves and set them free. The plantation owners would need labor, and so many of the newly freed citizens could be hired on as laborers, if they wanted to.

Do you fucking retards realize that when anyone clicks on your videos, they go to a fucking screen they won't let them watch your videos? Maybe you should hire a fucking hajji or something because you guys are fucking retarded!

The only thing that made it inevitable is Lincoln's cruelty.

Lincoln, the tyrannical dictator did nothing to keep the union together.

We still have slavery in the sex trafficking

Nothing in the Constitution prevented secession. Wrong or right Southerners defied no law in order to secede. The nation not only survived, it thrived as both sides came together to assure its ultimate success. Anything else you hear is purposeful diviveness.

The biggest load of crap is the civil War was not about slavery at all slavery funded the war machine for the South in order to get the jump on them they tried to turn their money off. Lincoln already said that he assigned the first position for white people not meritocracy

PropagandaU

Lincoln inherited a secession crisis. He pushed it into becoming a civil war. Slavery was already on the decline. It would've disappeared on its own. Lincoln wanted to assert the power of the federal government over the states.

Read. When in the course of human events ‘ by Charles Adams complete with foot notes and details.

We think we vote but it’s not counted Groundhog life North vs South Their computer does the voting No secessions and no separations It’s us losing vs them controlling
