That’s a double dribble. Right in front of the ref🤦🏾♂️

It looked a bit risky but within the rules.

Old heads gonna hate this post 😭🥀

Double dribble

How the hell is that not considered a double dribble or an up and down?

Yea nice clean move

Everything when it comes to moving in the NBA is clean.

Clearly. Never dribbled, left his pivot in the air, dribbled before landing. Just smart ball by him

Mitchell been watching those “dribble experts” on Twitter 😭

spida cooked that clean af

Honestly look clean to me. Does it look sketchy? Yea. But hand on top of the ball the whole time

"If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor. If he drops the ball while in the air, he may not be the first to touch the ball." page 37:

It is a travel.

refs gift spida everything, change my mind

Hand on ball, rules tight call it clean.

That mf traveled nd carried

No but I’m gonna let it slide

Illegal at any other level

he never established his tribble so i think regardless of where his hand was, i think he was entitled to begin the dribble still

Reasons the Celtics are opening investigation against the refs now the dumb bull shit no calls

if ya gotta ask, then fuck no.

nah bro that was sketchy, shoulda been a foul for sure

They never call traveling or palming anymore nba officiating is a joke 🙄 thanks legalized gambling for ruining sports

I hate the NBA now. This is such bullshit.

That’s was smooth and confusing, I wonder if it was intentional 😂

Just came to see the comments cause …..they don’t know lol

Cavs fan here. That's a travel. The ball needs to leave his hand to initiate the dribble prior to lifting his pivot foot. If the jumped and then passed or shot the ball, it would have been legal.

Absolutely not

Up and down. Can’t dribble with 2 feet off the ground. Travel. Easy call. Weak, horrible officiating

In real basketball games it was not clean, but it was pretty clean for the NBA. I've seen worse.

Clean all day, he didnt get his feet down before putting the ball down

He established a pivot foot. If he leaves the ground, he has to either pass or shoot. If he wants to dribble, the ball has to touch the ground before he lifts his pivot foot. Travel. His only saving grace would be if the ref deemed it to be a deflection, but I didn’t see that.

Heck no 😂
