@PeterDutton_MP They all ignore his constant lies. Albo is not worthy of the position.

Here's another model.. The Australian Labor Party has proposed a new tax on unrealized capital gains within superannuation accounts valued at over $3 million, with the revenue from this measure already included in forward treasury estimates. If Labor wins the upcoming general election, this tax is expected to be implemented. In addition, individuals with unrealized capital losses in their superannuation accounts will not be able to claim immediate deductions for these losses. Instead, such losses can only be carried forward to offset future gains. Given that Labor is currently leading in the polls, this tax is anticipated to come into effect by the end of the 2025/26 financial year. Once the necessary regulations and procedures are established, there is speculation that the scope of this tax could expand to include unrealized capital gains on property. The legislation is likely to receive support from the Greens and Teal independents in Parliament. For property investors, such a tax could lead to increased costs. In response, many landlords may raise rents to cover potential future expenses, which could result in significant rent hikes across the market. In Australia, additional revenue streams are becoming essential as the nation faces significant challenges in its electricity sector. The cost of delivering electricity is expected to rise dramatically due to several factors: Shortfalls in electricity supply: Australia's transition to renewable energy has been slower than anticipated, with gaps in generation capacity emerging as ageing coal-fired power stations are retired. Renewable infrastructure costs: Replacing and maintaining renewable energy infrastructure has led to substantial cost overruns, further straining the system. Baseload power expenditures: Maintaining grid stability requires substantial investments in existing coal and gas power stations. Despite their inefficiency and high maintenance costs, these stations remain critical for ensuring reliable baseload power during the energy transition. Energy providers such as AGL have committed billions of dollars to maintain ageing coal generators, highlighting the financial burden of keeping these facilities operational. Meanwhile, retail electricity prices are projected to increase by up to 35% over the next decade due to rising network costs and inflation, exacerbating affordability concerns for consumers. As grid reliability remains paramount, policymakers may need to balance renewable energy targets with investments in traditional power sources. Without addressing these challenges effectively, Australians could face skyrocketing electricity bills and potential disruptions in supply. In Australia; you pay tax at every turn: When you earn income, you pay tax, when you purchase goods, you pay tax, or pay for a service, you pay tax, even for simply owning assets like your car or home, you pay tax. When you sell something, such as shares or property, you pay tax. Now, there’s talk of taxing unrealized capital gains—tax on profits such as a capital gain you haven’t even received yet. Australia; overpopulated, over administrated, overtaxed, now under performing and rapidly becoming overrated.

@PeterDutton_MP Another shocking performance by Albo. But he was terrible in the 2022 campaign & he’s been fumbly & weak for 3 years. How many voters are engaged enough in the political process to even know? On performance he should get wiped out. But I doubt that will happen.

@PeterDutton_MP MSM have given this dud & his government a rails run since 2020, when he started lying and is yet to stop. Tonight is the first night he'd been put under any pressure. he failed dismally but that won’t stop the protection racket for the next 3 weeks.

@PeterDutton_MP So the adjudicator cuts off Dutton as soon as Albo starts flailing a bit. So it’s pretty much a press conference for albo then?
