The idea has come to me in recent months that perhaps whatever is behind the phenomenon may be using technology as a trojan horse or rather a diversionary tactic (look over there and not over here). It's a bit like something Whitley Streiber once said, and I am paraphrasing here, that the more attention we give them the easier it is for them to come into existence. This would jibe a bit with what some people have said regarding occult and esoteric connections to the phenomenon and how "consciousness" (however we loosely choose to define it) plays a role in whatever the hell is going on. We really need to be specific. If they small greys feed off fear why are the reported all over the place with giving messages of “do not fear” That doesn’t square up Now some other types I do think it’s a possibility that they do feed off fear but we just need to be specific

The whole story of the garden of eden is a metaphorical warning about this. “Fruit of knowledge” etc… these beings clearly lost their connection to their source at some point along the line. Likely through genetic engineering, home planet destruction, (or both) combined with becoming a space faring species… the crucible of their home world no longer cultivates and guides their evolution naturally when you are relegated to artificial environments of a spacecraft or whatever. Extrapolate that effect out on genetics over 1k-1m+ years. They are the fallen angels of the bible (many of them are at least) and have no souls… and they have no evolutionary persistence beyond what they can achieve through unnatural technological means. This is why they are attempting to hybridize with humans (an attempt at preservation) and largely why they do abductions. They are gene harvesters attempting to fix their own deteriorating code. They are artificially intelligent from their own genetic manipulations. But they are parasites. They are attempting what amounts to a parasitic symbiosis without regard for the planet Earths native species. We must employ our own technology with the utmost and thorough philosophical considerations of any irreversible implications (but i still think we should develop it). The garden of eden isnt a “place on Earth” it IS earth in the metaphor. We need to realize as a species that we are being parasitically preyed on to a degree (has been going on for a long time tbh) and reject it outright to reclaim our own sovereignty. I dont trust these beings no matter how good or “angelic” they may seem and no one should.

I certainly would not dismiss the idea. We are talking about entities that (in many cases) have a history of deception, and disregard for free-will. They hide themselves from the masses, and reveal themselves only to their 'victims' / 'contactees' This is not the behavior of benevolent beings - i.e. if they demonstrate a disregard for free-will (e.g. abductions of people against their wishes and/or under duress) whilst hiding their presence from the rest of humanity - this is a massive indicator of intention and is not a pattern of behavior that lends itself to benevolence... ...and IMO it is probably the biggest/best indicator we have to discern the positive entities from the negative. and for those that argue "but they seem to protect us from nukes", while yes, that's a positive sign - but a farmer that sells chicken's to KFC, also protects his chickens from foxes. If we, or our planet, or both are a valuable resource, or also a home for these 'visitors', they have plenty of motive to prevent nuclear disaster that does not involve our long term best interest. Sorry be a downer - but as the OP hints - we need clear logical critical thinking - which takes all into account - because that's all we have - Gov is never going to offer us the truth

How about ufo literacy 101? Greys say don't be afraid. Their message is we need to stop war, take better care of the earth and evolve. I'm sure many are ruthlessly focused on their job of whatever they're doing/ mapping. Probably long term big picture stuff we can't imagine.

Actual question: Are we not looking at an effectively true human hive-mind as elevation for human consciousness? If it was branded under “the world” instead of “technology” would we view it differently? If humans became the planetary consciousness of Earth I don’t see pushback

We are a pretty low tech household but my kids have been using chromebooks daily (jn school) since Gr.4, and I am skeptical that any deep, meaningful learning happens on them: a game, YouTube, chat, Google enquiry or AI bot is literally a click away. By design? ☑️
