Cleaning a washing machine is essential for maintaining its performance and preventing odors and buildup of dirt and detergent residue. Here's a simple guide to cleaning a washing machine: 1. **Clean the Dispenser Drawers**: Remove the detergent, bleach, and fabric softener dispensers from the machine and wash them in warm, soapy water. Use a brush to scrub away any residue. 2. **Wipe Down the Exterior**: Use a damp cloth and mild detergent to wipe down the exterior of the washing machine, including the control panel and door. 3. **Clean the Drum**: Run an empty hot water cycle with a cup of white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner. This helps remove any mold, mildew, or mineral deposits from the drum and hoses. Alternatively, you can use a mixture of baking soda and water for a natural cleaning solution. 4. **Clean the Door Seal**: Check the rubber door seal for any mold or mildew buildup. Wipe it down with a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water or a specialized mold and mildew cleaner. Be sure to reach into the folds and crevices of the seal. 5. **Clean the Filter**: Some washing machines have a filter that traps lint, hair, and debris. Consult your machine's manual to locate the filter and clean it according to the manufacturer's instructions. 6. **Run a Rinse Cycle**: After cleaning, run an empty rinse cycle to flush out any remaining cleaning solution or residue. 7. **Leave the Door Open**: To prevent mold and mildew growth, leave the washing machine door open between uses to allow air to circulate and dry out the interior. By regularly cleaning your washing machine, you can ensure that it continues to perform effectively and keep your laundry fresh and clean.

To clean a washing machine, remove and clean dispenser drawers, wipe down the exterior, run a hot water cycle with vinegar or cleaner, clean the door seal, and leave the door open to air dry.

Has anyone ever done this?

I have never cleaned mine, not for once!

Easy way

Do the bottom filter last, not first....just to be pedantic. 🤓

Clean your dispenser, wipe down the rubber seal from time to time and leave the door open when not in use.

Ugh. That looks like a lot of work.

vou fazer isso no fds @patricialeda
