Plane didn't take that route. It arrived vertically and was told to goto runway 33 then turned left once far enough

I didn’t realize this but there is a 140 thousand flights a day , that seems wild to me and kinda funny we pay a carbon tax

That Helicopter should have been nowhere near that airspace gross incompetence pitch black flying into a busy airport approach area ridiculous

No mistakes there. Intentionally

Wrong animation. Landing aircraft came from different side. Initially approach for runway 01, ATC ask pilot to change to visual approach for runway 33, pilot agreed.

Why did the Blackhawk pilot request visual separation at night? You don't request that unless there is clear visibility. If they had remained under instrument flight rules the accident could not have occurred. Did the Blackhawk pilot have an instrument rating?

What a shame, I’m sure this accident could’ve been avoided. RIP
