It’s been incredible to witness just how deeply involved and passionate President Trump has been about making Washington, D.C. beautiful in advance of America 250 celebrations. Fountains, monuments, landscaping, lighting, the reflecting pool, and so much more are part of his effort. National Guardsmen have been amazing, and a big shoutout to Secretary Doug Burgum and his team at the Dept of Interior for exceptionally leading the way implementing the President’s vision.

World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.: Stunning Fountains Open 24 Hours a Day 🇺🇸✨ Water, light, and history—24 hours a day. 🇺🇸💦✨ The World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., reopened in 2026 after a major renovation, and its stunning fountains are once again flowing day and night. A powerful tribute to the heroes of World War II and a must-see destination in the nation’s capital. The World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., is one of the nation’s most iconic landmarks, honoring the service and sacrifice of the Greatest Generation. Its beautiful fountains typically operate seasonally from March through December and remain open 24 hours a day during that period. Following an extensive lighting and mechanical system renovation, the memorial reopened in May 2026, just in time for Memorial Day weekend, with its fountains once again flowing around the clock. During the winter months, the fountains are turned off to protect them from freezing temperatures, but for most of the year they provide a breathtaking display of water, light, and remembrance in the heart of the nation’s capital. 🇺🇸💦✨ 🔥 #WorldWarII #WorldWarIIMemorial #WashingtonDC #HistoryLivesHere #GeovannyVicenteRomero

🚨 EPIC! President Trump just personally gave a massive shoutout to Interior Sec. Doug Burgum at the White House "He's fixed 82 statues, monuments, fountains in DC. NEGLECTED for 40-50 years in some cases!" "You're just about running out!" 😅 Burgum is on a GENERATIONAL run right now with 47 to beautify our cities 👏🏻 This is under Trump’s “Make D.C. Safe and Beautiful” push that Burgum’s Interior Department has been running They’ve stripped HUNDREDS of graffiti hits off monuments and memorials around the capital Democrats let it ROT. Trump and Burgum are fixing it in broad daylight during America's 250th and the left somehow OPPOSES it

Under President Trump and Republicans, 45 monuments, 28 statues, and 22 fountains in DC have been restored. Under Democrats, blue cities across America dragged our founders off pedestals and out of government spaces. In 2021, Thomas Jefferson was hauled out of NYC City Hall after 187 years. That era is over. American history is finally being respected again, thanks to President Donald J. Trump and Secretary Doug Burgum.

NOW: President Trump reveals the Reflecting Pool renovations will be done in time for July 4th and America 250 celebrations: "It'll stay clean. We even have robots that go in it... they clean it like a swimming pool." "You can have a beautiful pool, and you'll have it for July 4th, long before July 4th, instead of taking three, three and a half years, we're taking a week."

Lee Greenwood takes the stage and sings “Proud to Be an American” to a massive audience at the Countdown 250 Ball in Washington, D.C. But according to the elected Democrats and mainstream media, no one is in D.C. celebrating July 4th. Democrats are such liars.

One year of making DC safe and beautiful again. Across our nation’s capital, iconic spaces are getting the care and attention they deserve. The fountains are flowing, and DC is shining again.
