🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Washington’s aggressive foreign policy blunders have backed the White House into an absolute geostrategic trap in West Asia. Every single aggressive move to force regional concessions only deepens the administration’s isolation as traditional allies like Saudi Arabia actively hedge their bets elsewhere. Pepe Escobar argued that Moscow and...

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump threatened to unleash the “gates of hell” against Iran, then he backed away, which in Washington may have been seen as restraint. According to Geopolitical analyst Pepe Escobar, Tehran interpreted it very differently. They saw it as proof that Iran’s deterrence had worked, America’s military options were narrowing, and that the longer Iran holds out, the more leverage it gains. Pepe says that transformed Iran’s objectives. Tehran is no longer thinking only about surviving the war, lifting sanctions or securing control over the Strait of Hormuz. According to his sources, forcing the U.S to retreat from West Asia has now become a central strategic goal. Iran began this conflict trying to prevent America from imposing its will. Pepe believes it now sees an opportunity to dismantle the military system that allowed Washington to threaten it in the first place. And Tehran reportedly believes it has found the mechanism. He says Iran has replaced its previous proportional retaliation policy with a new warning: Strike one Iranian energy target, and Iran will strike ten targets across America’s regional network. The message to Gulf governments is brutal. If they help Trump attack Iran, their refineries, pipelines and export facilities will pay the price. Pepe says that threat is one reason regional leaders pushed Trump to stand down. Saudi Arabia, in particular, understands that another major escalation could devastate the infrastructure it depends on to export oil. For decades, American bases were supposed to protect Gulf allies from Iran, but now those bases are putting the countries hosting them at risk. Pepe Escobar

P. ESCOBAR: IRAN WILL NEVER BLINK - THE EVICTION NOTICE THAT ENDS US HEGEMONY The journalist Pepe Escobar -well connected in West Asia - says that the war script has flipped completely. Trump entered promising dominance but now scrambles for any exit while Iran stands unbreakable. What looked like American power is revealing itself as the mother of all strategic defeats. THE STRATEGIC DEFEAT UNFOLDS ➡️ Trump’s desperate secret approaches scream one truth: he is trapped with no honorable way out. ➡️ Proclaiming victory would only make the humiliation official and crystal clear to the entire planet. ➡️ This collapse dwarfs Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan combined. ➡️ American hegemony in West Asia is already finished and the global empire follows right behind. IRAN'S IRONCLAD COMMITMENT ➡️ Iran has handed over a full eviction notice with zero room for negotiation. ➡️ End all sanctions, pay reparations, accept their nuclear program exactly as they want it. ➡️ The war ends only when Iran decides, on their terms, not Washington’s. ➡️ Every Iranian leader from the Supreme Leader to the IRGC to the people stands united: no compromise, no chicken out. THE BOTTOM LINE The United States is staring at imminent strategic defeat while Iran refuses to yield even an inch. This is the empire’s endgame moment. 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Pepe Escobar: Washington is trying to use the Venezuela playbook on Iran, and he thinks it badly misunderstands who it is dealing with. Escobar says the Trump administration recently revived a back channel to the IRGC through Iraqi Kurdistan’s leader Nechirvan Barzani. The channel was originally set up for diplomacy. According to Escobar, it was later used to offer billions of dollars to senior IRGC figures in exchange for helping weaken Iran’s leadership from within. The offer was rejected. Escobar says Ahmad Vahidi passed it up and the information moved up Iran’s chain of command. His point is that Washington was essentially trying to buy a military coup. The problem: senior IRGC figures spent decades fighting the Iran-Iraq War and see themselves as defenders of Iran against foreign intervention. Taking American money to undermine the state would mean treason, not a payday. Escobar sees the same misunderstanding in Washington’s wider strategy. Iran’s message that the U.S. should leave the region and accept a “new regional order” is, in his view, a statement that the old balance of power is changing. Iran sits at the center of a growing network linking Russia, China, Central Asia and Pakistan. The North-South Transport Corridor, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and expanding Iran-China trade routes are creating alternatives to U.S.-controlled trade and finance. That is why Escobar expects the sanctions campaign to hit more than Iran. Secondary sanctions put China, Russia and other countries trading with Tehran in the same fight. China, he argues, has little reason to comply. Its 2021 anti-foreign-sanctions law explicitly targets the extraterritorial use of foreign sanctions. So Escobar’s bigger point is simple: Washington is trying to isolate Iran, but the pressure may be pushing Iran, China, Russia and the wider Global South into closer cooperation. The fight over Iran is increasingly a fight over who gets to shape the system around it. Pepe Escobar

Pepe Escobar says Trump is still talking peace while Russia and Iran are showing him what power looks like Trump still talks as though wars end because leaders sit around a table and agree to stop fighting. Pepe thinks Russia and Iran have already moved on from that way of thinking. His argument is that both countries have reached exactly the same conclusion: you negotiate from facts you've already created on the battlefield. He says rather than waiting for Washington to honour the MOU, Iran is building a new regional reality that becomes harder to reverse with every passing day. Then he drew a direct comparison with Russia. Trump keeps saying he can end the Ukraine war with another phone call, but Pepe says Moscow stopped believing that months ago. In his view, the Kremlin has already decided the battlefield will determine the final settlement, not another round of negotiations. Every advance in Donbas, each new buffer zone, every strike on Ukraine's military infrastructure, is the future map being drawn before anyone sits down to negotiate. The most fascinating part of the conversation was when Pepe said Russia has been studying Iran's response to the war. Not just militarily, politically, diplomatically, and strategically. He believes both countries have reached the same conclusion after years of broken agreements. That's why he thinks something fundamental has changed. Washington still believes it can sign an agreement today and renegotiate it tomorrow. Russia and Iran believe the only agreements that matter are the ones backed by realities nobody can undo.
