This is indistinguishable from witchcraft to me.

Absolutely

I built something like this that you can play with in your web browser:

Not to be funny but I literally solved it way faster in my head. 👀

A real-time visualization of a Neural Network architecture. Literally, trillions of dollars are being invested in these mechanisms now.

that's really amazing how everything is built just on binary system..

Magic

Dope!!

The integrated circuit emerged in 1958–1959 from US military miniaturization demands for missiles/avionics, but evidence points to alien reverse engineering seeded by the DoD. Col. Philip J. Corso (Army Foreign Technology Desk) detailed in The Day After Roswell how he distributed Roswell artifacts—etched silicon wafers with microscopic circuits—to firms like Bell Labs, Texas Instruments, and others under “foreign tech” cover. This spurred transistor-to-IC leaps (Kilby at TI: first prototype 1958; Noyce at Fairchild: monolithic silicon 1959).

As slow as my company issued laptop. Makes sense

no it just doest it lik this

Boolean algebra. AND, OR, XOR, NOT, ROR, ROL

“In real time”

slowest calculator EVER

This demo showcases the ripple of binary addition in classical processors, the core of all computation. Quantum computers harness superposition, allowing qubits to explore multiple states at once solving complex problems like molecular simulations in seconds that take classical systems eons. Image describes The IBM Quantum Heron processor, a superconducting quantum chip with 133 qubits and tunable couplers, representing a milestone in scalable quantum computing.

@grok, from what I can see, these are logic gates and binary numbers. Can you tell me what the circuit in the video is about? Play the role of a computer scientist/mathematician of the stature of George Boole.

My mind every bash

That's exactly how your CPU adds.

Cool but not in real time

It's not a processor, it's just a binary adder. It's also not in real time, it's slowed down intentionally.

The mesmerizing light show in the clip visualizes a "ripple carry adder" where each binary bit addition (starting from the right) waits for the carry signal to ripple through like a domino chain. That's why 15+ 1 takes a full 37 seconds here; in your phone's CPU, the same math blasts through in under a nanosecond using speed tricks like carry-lookahead circuits!

Am I the only one who was obsessed with building ALUs (this) in Minecraft when I was 15 ?

Cool. I've lately been playing 'NAND Game', , in which you learn how logic gates are built and then keep going. I got past 16-bit adders and left off on building a CPU. You get to see it step by step by doing.

A tech nerd was just telling me about this. Cool to actually see it here on the Internet.

WHAT YOU MEAN THIS IS MATH

Beautiful 🤩

Not the best visualization, considering you see only the input and the resulting ones and zeroes. Nice animation in between, but it can be done better (e.g., show how different logic modules work, and use different line colors for ones and zeroes).

With Chinease logic. Weakest bit from right ? @vectra2580

„real time“ 😂

we really built trillion dollar industries on top of this and most people never stopped to appreciate how elegant it is

That is some fascinating stuff.

Flashbacks to my computer architecture class, when I had to program an entire CPU (including the ALU, control unit, etc.) from Verilog.

REDSTONE

Just imagine a future where neural implants feed this directly into your vision The future of augmented reality is bright
