Founder of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has stated that President John Mahama means well for Ghana but needs support. The Archbishop cited an example from several years ago, where he met some business tycoons who told him about a foreign company that sought to structure a deal to eventually benefit Ghanaian individuals, the foreign investors, and President Mahama himself. However, according to the Archbishop, President Mahama rejected that arrangement and insisted the deal be structured so that, once the debt was repaid, the investment would be fully owned by the country.
