Andrew Bridgen told me that in January 2022 someone offered him anything he wanted in the world to shut up about the vaccines, and they put it in a text message because they had apparently never had anyone turn it down before. He assumed they had made that offer to a lot of elected representatives and it had always worked. He said no. By November of that year he was having conversations with colleagues he had worked alongside for twelve years, and one of them told him privately that he thought Andrew was right. This was a man who had taken two Pfizers, gone to the gym, had chest pains, taken himself to the hospital, and been told he had already had two heart attacks. Andrew asked him to stand with him anyway, to protect the children, and the man said no. Andrew still doesn't fully know why. I remember when I was young, around 10-11 years old. My parents were both asleep as was my brother. I heard a knock on the back door which was weird because who uses the back door at a stranger’s house? The kitchen window was close by so I take a look. It looked like a teenager but hard to tell because they had a hoodie with the hood up. I didn’t open the door but I did crack the window and asked them what they wanted. They replied they were lost and wanted to come in to warm up and use the phone. Even when it’s daylight I know never to let anybody in period that I didn’t know, but a stranger after midnight was weird enough. I said no because I didn’t know them. Then they said that hey knew my dad and that’s why he came by. I said that’s fine and all but I’m not letting you use our phone. This was before cellphones were widely used, we had a landline like most people. The person wouldn’t take no for an answer and I could sense he was getting angry. I went and woke up my dad, I told him there was somebody at the back door and that he said they knew him. He walked to the door and looked out and said he didn’t know him. But he did talk through the door and told him that he was calling the police and that he should just leave. The person just stood there until the police finally came and even they asked him what he was doing knocking on the door at that hour. He told them he was lost and thought this was a house of a family friend. The police told him my dad didn’t know him and made him leave. So was this a case of wrong house or was he up to something. It makes me still wonder to this day but I’m still glad I never opened the door.

“Just give them your stuff and you’ll be fine.” That’s the lie people repeat until a case like this exposes it. A man in London was targeted over what the robbers believed was a £300,000 watch. The watch was fake. He was outnumbered. He had every incentive to hand it over and survive. They stabbed him anyway. That is the problem with the compliance argument. It only counts the people who handed over their property and lived to tell the story. It ignores the people who complied and still got hurt, because they are not around to explain what went wrong. This man was not in a negotiation. He was marked before he ever left the restaurant. A security guard allegedly filmed him, sent the information out, and four men followed him to his car. So where was the compliance supposed to happen? Gun control did not stop the violence. Disarming normal people did not remove evil from the street. It just left the victim with fewer options when evil showed up. If you choose to comply in that moment, that is your call. But do not legislate the rest of us into your victim mentality.

Police knocked on the wrong door in the middle of the night at the Mississippi home of Ismael Lopez. When he opened the door, his dog ran out. They shot and killed it. He was holding a rifle. They told him to put it down. He turned around to put it down and they shot him in the back of the head and killed him. The officer was not prosecuted. And today a Mississippi jury rejected his wife's civil suit, stating that they did not feel the officer used "excessive force."

I’ve had a few people do this to me, they seriously look like they are enjoying their food, cleaning the plates so well it looked like they were freshly washed. Yet complaining with every bite how the food is bad and how they are refusing to pay yet they won’t stop eating every last crumb on the plate. I just opened the buffet for the day, everything is fresh and hot, I do random taste tests for almost everything that comes out to make sure they are good and to my standards. I had a man come in with his wife, she looked nervous and in about 20 mins I saw why. The man went up and grabbed a plate, he picked out all of the meat in the dishes, all the beef from the pepper steak to all the chicken in the chicken broccoli, he cleared around 4 plates of meat leaving nothing but veggies left in the pans. The wife was quietly enjoying her food, she wasn’t participating in his behavior. When it was time to pay, the man wasn’t hiding his discontent, he said he didn’t like the food, there wasn’t enough meat in the dishes, he wasn’t even full and was going to have to pick up a burger after he leaves. So he feels he shouldn’t have to pay for it. I was not having it. I said I watched you pick out all the meat and eat every last bit, you even had 4 pieces of cheesecake and a bowl of fresh fruit. I made him pay and I banned him from the restaurant, I said if you don’t pay I will trespass you and press charges for theft. His wife was embarrassed, I can tell he does this often, she paid, apologized and they both left.

WATCH | We managed to get photos of the two men who have been scamming people using fake money. The men drive around in a Silver Toyota Hilux Double cab. The person who sent us the video was also one of their victims, and his colleague recorded the men’s faces while they were trying to scam someone else. The victim said that in October 2025, the two men scammed him of US$1,600 in Mt Pleasant, Harare. He explained that the men came to the service station where he works and asked him to help them exchange their money. They told him they had between US$1,500 and US$2,000 in US$20 notes, and they wanted solid cash in US$50 and US$100 notes. He said that after he got US$1,600, the men gave him US$20 notes worth the same amount. While he was counting the money, the men started arguing with each other, saying their money was short by US$20. They asked him to return all the money so they could count it again together. He said that at that moment, it felt like they used some trick on him, because he agreed to give the money back without thinking. When they counted the money again, everything looked correct, and one of the men tied the money with a rubber band. The victim said he did not understand what trick they used, because later he realised that he was only left with US$20 and the rest of the notes were bond notes. The men then ran away in their car. There was a parent who lost a child to the needle. Not lost to death, which at least lets you grieve and one day stop. Lost to the street. To the years of disappearing, the phone that stops being answered, the front door left unlocked every single night for a decade on the chance the child might finally come through it. And the parent never stopped. Did not move on. Did not decide the child was too far gone. Drove to the worst parts of town to scan the faces under the overpass.
