#WATCH | Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra: On the SIR, AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi says, "... People have created this application... This app has both the 2002 voter list and the 2024 voter list... Mapping is very important. If mapping isn't done, then the voter's name won't appear in the SIR... If your name isn't listed in 2002, meaning your name is listed in 2024, how will you map it? You'll do it with your father or mother, or your grandfather or grandmother, and their mapping is also written separately on that form... We hope that wherever MIM's help desk centres are set up, we are appealing to all voters, especially those from the marginalised communities of the weaker sections..., to come and check it... The sole purpose is to ensure that genuine voters' names are not deleted without due process or are prevented from inclusion..." (Source: Asaduddin Owaisi Social Media Page)

However, no Muslim candidate won in the state. We claim that Indian democracy is the representative form of democracy.
