#WATCH | Nagaur, Rajasthan | SP Mridul Kachhawa says, "For quite some time, the Nagaur police had been receiving intelligence reports indicating that large quantities of explosive materials were being bought, sold, and stored in the district... Yesterday, the district police carried out a major operation... In the operation, one person, Suleman Khan, an accused in this case, has been arrested. A case has been registered under sections of the Explosives Act and organised crime. A large quantity of explosive material was seized from the site. This is possibly the biggest operation under the Explosives Act in the state. A total of 10,000 kilograms of ammonium nitrate was seized. A large quantity of detonators, detonating wire, and other materials commonly used for mining-related blasting were also seized. The accused, Suleman Khan, is a resident of Harsore. He was storing the stock in his farmhouse. The accused has three previous cases registered against him, all related to the Explosives Act. He has been acquitted in one of them..." (25.01)

There are several women like me in Baster who lost their husbands...Now, Bastar is naxal-free. But there are politicians in Delhi who are sitting here and saying things like this. So, we have come here. I don't want a repeat of what happened earlier," says Aarti from Kanker, Bastar in Chhattisgarh.

“Niva Duwad Te” is a Development Communication Project happening in Villages of Sukma District of Chattisgarh. The area was “Red corridor Area” a highly sensitive zone which was once a centre of Naxalites who were operated by CPIM(Maoist). Niva Duwad Te is a special public awareness and outreach campaign by Sukma police to bridge the communication gap that was stopped by naxalites. After 31 March, when India is now naxal free, local tribes are seeing new technologies, games, toys, bags, new clothes for the first time. The campaign motive is to increase trust and have a dialogue with police, who will provide the needful things in interior areas. The officials set a Chaupal and listen to the locals problems. Since I’m the first to be a part of Niva Duwad Te the initiative is promising and has give a lot of hope to the villagers for the good changes according to their needs. Badesatti is the first village of Sukma District to become Naxal-free. #WATCH | Delhi | In a major crackdown and search-cum-seizure operation, a huge quantity of counterfeit products of OPPO, OnePlus and Realme brands was recovered. Two godowns located in Regharpura, Karol Bagh, where these fake products were being packaged and branded, were sealed. A factory in Moti Nagar, Delhi, where packaging boxes of these companies’ products were manufactured, was also sealed. Eight machines used in the illegal operation were seized. Two people were arrested in the case for packaging counterfeit products on a large scale and selling them in the market under the names of reputed brands. In a major operation, the AGS Unit of Delhi Police Crime Branch sealed two godowns and one factory linked to counterfeit products and packaging material of reputed mobile brands such as OPPO, OnePlus and Realme. During the operation, one printing press and three godowns were found where counterfeit products were packaged and branded using machines.
