There is no law which proponents the participation of the Vice-Chancellor or anyone else in a program of RSS because it is not a banned organisation... If he makes such a statement, then the whole world will laugh at him because RSS is known to be an organisation which is patriotic, which serves the people and which is one of the largest voluntary organisations in the world... I don't understand the logic behind the statement made by the Chief Minister of Kerala. I demand that he should withdraw such statements..."

The politics is BJP - RSS is trying to break the opposition. BJP - RSS is using its central agencies against opposition leaders. In such a context, if Rahul Gandhi comes to Kerala and, in the name of politics, he attacks the most respected leader of the Left and then says we want unity against the BJP-RSS. This is sheer hypocrisy... Rahul Gandhi, keep your hugs to yourself. But as the LoP, please respect leaders of the opposition like Pinarayi Vijayan, who have spent the better part of their life fighting for the working class against the BJP - RSS."

In 1947, Golwalkar was sent to persuade Maharaja Hari Singh to merge Kashmir with India... In 1954, volunteers played a key role in liberating Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Volunteers also sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Goa..." He adds, "The RSS has always been a strong guardian of the Constitution, democracy, and citizens' rights. In 1950, when the govt attempted to suppress freedom of speech, the RSS boldly opposed it...
