We need to empower greater private sector participation in the defense industry, particularly in the development and production of Air Force assets. For instance, in the United States, the F-35 is developed by private companies like Lockheed Martin, and in France, the Rafale is produced by private firms such as Dassault Aviation.

Chief is 100% right! We need to do away with inefficiences in the system like the stangehold of DPSU's in defence production. #IDEX & #MakeinIndia is giving "some" fruitful results.But without major bureaucratic and labor reforms,defence manufacturing can't happen at large scale.
