I urge all Cambodian compatriots not to engage in such disgraceful acts, which are inhumane and even worse than those of animals. Regardless of whether this video was made by a human or by AI, it clearly displays immoral behavior regardless of nationality or group. Recently, some of our compatriots asked me to create content featuring photos or portraits of the Thai King, where participants would shoot at the images to win prizes, just as some Thai nationals have been doing. I responded that if we believe their actions are wrong, then we should not compete in wrongdoing. There is no value in replicating such inhumane behavior, which is worse than what animals would do. I further explained that their intention is to provoke me, to cause me to lose patience during this fragile ceasefire, or at the very least, to incite some of our military forces and our people to retaliate and stir conflict. I sincerely appeal to all our compatriots not to use the portrait of the Thai King or images of any Thai leader in any inappropriate or disrespectful manner. Although our country is small, our population limited, and our economy weak, we must not be weak in morality. We must remain a dignified nation with high moral values. If you are hurt by or unhappy with Thailand, please refrain from purchasing Thai goods and stop using the Thai baht in Cambodia to strengthen our national monetary independence. Please do not take any actions that would affect Thai companies or Thai citizens who are living and working in Cambodia. I still believe that the majority of Thai people do not want to be enemies of the Cambodian people. Some people in Thailand, including some Thai leaders, are making inaccurate assessments of Cambodia’s economy, saying the country is facing hardship following the Thai border closures due to a lack of consumer goods. I should thank the Thai leaders for unintentionally doing us a favor. Cambodia has spent no less than five billion US dollars annually to purchase Thai products. This needs to be emphasized more because it's the most common criticism of her detractors. Karen is John's voice. There would be no justice for John O'Keefe if she was convicted. She and her team have done more to shed light on what really happened to him than anyone who claims to be fighting for him while trying to put her in prison. She really humanized him with this answer, telling the public who John really was, and what a tremendous loss this was for everyone. We rarely heard this from her during the trial and it was powerful. The antis have tried to take ownership of John's legacy and she took it back with this answer. Ohio County judge gets arrested but expects special treatment. This is the wild story of Portage County Judge Rebecca Doherty, whose OVI arrest became a viral lesson in how not to handle a police encounter. Randall: When I was 7 years old, my sister Olivia was born with microcephaly. They didn't know if she would live, how long she'd live and what her life would look like. And I grew up in a family of public servants, a bipartisan family, a biracial family, and my dad who was a civilian employee for the department of defense had pretty good government employee insurance, but that insurance wouldn't have covered all of the surgeries, the specialists, the equipment that Olivia needed to thrive. But greatfully for our family, the Washington state legislature in 1993 voted to expand medicaid, one of the first states in the country to lead that charge. And for us, that meant we didn't have to worry about losing our house or whatever bills we'd pay so that Olivia could survive and thrive and it meant she was able to get multiple wheelchairs and use equipment that kept her from getting pneumonia more than five times a year. She was able to go to public school and live for 19 years with our family. For me, I learned that government could be a safety net for families like mine… If a trillion dollars is cut from Medicaid programs, we will see potentially per capita caps which means that we will decide how much the lives of children like my sister are worth.
