As of 2023, OECD data shows that Morocco is among the top 10 countries with the highest rates of violence against women. When examining the rates of violence from North Africans in Germany, groups from these countries are incredibly overrepresented. For German suspects, the TVBZ value in the area of violent crime is 163, and for Syrian suspects it is around ten times as high. The TVBZ statistics record a violent crime rate for Moroccan citizens of 1,885, 11 times as high as the value for German citizens.
