Cows are environmentally sustainable. Methane from cows is part of the natural carbon cycle that after 10-12 years breaks down into natural CO2 and water. Grass absorbs the CO2 by photosynthesis and the cycle repeatedly continues. It’s time to end this bullshit propaganda based narrative that cows somehow destroy the planet. Farmers are facing huge pressures on a number of fronts and yet, governments are finding numerous ways to make their lives even more difficult. And that’s why farmers are protesting. It’s time for a fair deal for farmers. Farming should be right at the top of government prioritisation and support. Our food security and maintenance of the countryside depends on them.
