CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the revival of our beloved Heritage Basant Festival on February 6th 7th and 8th celebrated across Lahore after 25 years, a tradition rooted in history and admired worldwide. The Basant Ordinance 2025 will be fully enforced and implemented. Every kite string and seller registered, QR coded and monitored. Basant belongs to the people, its success is our collective responsibility. On CM Punjab’s direction a city wide campaign to install safety antennas on all motorbikes starts tomorrow. Every motorbike in lahore will have Antenna for safety before and during Basant Inshallah. Safety is CM Punjab Priority. Let every kite soar and every ride be safe together we’ll make Lahore happy historic and secure! Spring returns to the city of heritage and festivals. Lahore’s skies will speak in colour again reclaiming our glory for the world.

🚨This is hilarious! This BJP spokesperson tried to mock Gen-Z protesters as people “ordering from Swiggy, Zomato” rubbish and when called out, called himself a Gen-Z. When I enquired about his age, he didn’t turn out a Gen-Z. This is the problem with those in power. They don’t understand the young generation’s language. They don’t even care to know something as basic as WHO is a Gen-Z, their age group, their anxieties about the future. When called out they accuse you of “clout chasing” and what not.
