What you people don’t understand is that the foreigner entering South Africa are not skilled it’s just poor blacks

Todo this is pedestrian thinking. Zim don't have capacity in electricity generation, basic infrastructure, ports. I mean you guys come on

But isn’t bringing investment and industries to Zimbabwe part of how we solve those infrastructure problems in the first place? How do you expect things to improve if we don’t create opportunities for growth?

The cost of doing business in Zim is just too high. And fyi there is a lot of capital in Zim but it's the priorities that are not right. Got a friend who bought a 3rd house for US 500k and collects $1 500 per month.

@todo_simms She should have done research. She invested without research. PPC, a South African cement company is making more than R3 billion in profit in Zimbabwe. There’s money in Zimbabwe but you guys still have an old impression about Zimbabwe told to you by your media.

Why is it the responsibility of South Africa to look after Africa when you guys keep voting for your corrupt leaders who destroy your countries? Look at what we did to @MYANC in the last elections and watch what will will do to them in 4 Nov Elections . We will show them flames

Incorrect comparison. You cannot compare Dubai to SA because Dubai needs unskilled labour and South Africa doesn’t need unskilled labour we have an over supply of them. Foreigners come and create unfair competition and they get exploited while unskilled SAns remain unemployed.

@MhlangaArchie No. South Africa has millions of poor people. We don't need labourers. We have a lot of people who want domestic work. We want our poor cousins and uncles to be employed. You can't compare us to Dubai. Dubai citizens don't want cleaning jobs, our cousins want cleaning jobs.

We can’t afford to import cheap labour while our youth unemployment is too high. The day South Africans are all eating nicely then we will open our borders. Right now we can’t afford the rest of Africa coming here. Zimbabwe has been very hostile towards South African companies. They even passed a law that a Zimbabwean must own 70% of the business. That time they are referring to businesses that have existed for years in Zimbabwe. So why should we accommodate while we are been harassed.

Dubai citizens are not in need for jobs. They are the employers. SA needs to achieve what Dubai has achieved before it can model it's economy after Dubai. Also note that, Dubai too has an illegal immigration issue. The main issue on the table. It complicates plans and programs.

It goes beyond that. Some if not most of our African countries are very hot. In this regard weather and climate also contribute in choosing the Country. Political stability, diseases, roads, infrastructure, internet connectivity. SADC region use SA Airports & Harbours 2 export
