Great show tonight! One thing you might get look into regarding the low percentage rates on Americans being proud to be American is our public school and university curriculum. Patriotism is largely absent, our country so often is cast as the colonizer and the exploiter of weaker nations and peoples. This started decades ago when communists realized they needed to change the youth to change the country. They were encouraged to become teachers and administrators.

Apparently, criticizing America is only unpatriotic when Democrats do it. Donald Trump spent years saying America was a "laughingstock," that "the American Dream is dead," and describing "American carnage" in his inaugural address. Either criticizing the country's condition is a legitimate part of political debate, or it isn't. The standard shouldn't change depending on who's speaking. If criticizing America's condition is evidence that someone doesn't love the country, then those statements deserve the same scrutiny. If, instead, criticism can be an expression of wanting the country to improve, then that standard should apply consistently—regardless of party.
