That's great, but what's the point? You have such an amazing tool and decide to spend the time and money on making this useless showoff feature? Nobody needs to generate a web in real time.

The page is no longer loaded. It is summoned.

If every user sees a dynamically generated version of the web… then the idea of a “shared internet” starts breaking. No fixed pages, no consistent UI, no universal truth layer. 🌍

This is basically taking the agentic workflow idea and baking it straight into the UI layer. Suddenly your whole session becomes one long dynamic prompt rather than jumping between fixed apps.

The speed of this is crazy, it seems to be able to replicate a bunch of static sites I would create for my friends instantly. I'm also a little surprised by the idea of streaming HTML code working this well without any perceived latency. Props to @cobley_ben

Great you can use it to rebuild the @geminicli

This changes the meaning of a website. Instead of static pages, you get interfaces generated on demand.

The real unlock here is that Flash-Lite's generation speed crosses the "feels interactive" threshold — under ~200ms first-token latency means pages feel navigated, not generated. That's a UX inflection point most demos miss.

Useless

You might as well just loop a random number generator and look for patterns in the outputs than to use this.

This is not a browser that fetches the web. It generates a version of the web on the spot. Every page you visit is hallucinated. We spent 30 years building reliable information retrieval and now the coolest demo skips all of that.

Usless feature and bad design 😶

Every click as a prompt, every page as a generation. When the browser becomes a generative interface, the web stops being a document system and starts being a conversation layer.

@GoogleDeepMind Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite summoning full websites in real-time per click? ⚡ Pages generated on the fly instead of loaded…straight web 3.0 unlocked. What’s the first dynamic site you’re cooking up with it? 👀 #Gemini #AI #WebGeneration

real-time website generation per page load is a genuinely different paradigm. the bottleneck shifts from build time to inference cost. when that cost hits zero, does the static web just disappear? probably yes for anything personalized.

The gap between idea → live website is basically disappearing. This changes how fast people can build and test things.

That is brilliant, put in something silly such as "Gothic monster snack food vendor." and Gemini will still give you a completely plausible ecommerce website. And even more surprisingly, any form of hypermedia you can think of! e.g. "An online choose your own adventure website specialising in hybrid cowboy pirate scenarios."

I mean now every Ai model can generate websites it's just competition to see which one takes it to the next level. And how are people promoting it.

Google may be moving toward generating dynamic, synthetic pages directly within search, built in real time and shaped by your prior search history. Instead of sending users to advertisers’ landing pages, the system could evaluate those pages and, if they fall short, replace them with AI-generated alternatives tailored to the individual user. This would mean search results are no longer just links, but fully constructed experiences controlled and personalized by Google itself. If implemented, this could fundamentally change how information is accessed, how ads are delivered, and who actually owns the user relationship online. @grok

This is wild. Used to wait seconds for a page load, now we're generating entire sites per click. The infrastructure underneath has to keep pace. When every interaction is compute-heavy and real-time, traditional payment rails become the bottleneck.

I thought people in Google deepmind are smart but seems not. I’m starting to feel a little tired of all the marketing videos and CEO speeches around AI. What do they want to really show? I can build that demo with models from other companies
