Today a group of Muslims prayed next to the Ministry of Defence, facing the Iraq and Afghanistan memorial. As I have said before, choosing to pray in this way in public is a political act. It is a social statement and, yes, it is an act of domination. Anybody who understands Islamism understands that the domination of public spaces is part of the modus operandi. It is done so Islamists can show who is in charge - and to show other Muslims and the wider public that the authorities will bend to their will. There is quite obviously no need to pray here. The decision to do so is symbolic and pointed. It is not welcome. We have freedom of religion in this country, which is why there are mosques. But we are not a Muslim country and this is not welcome. It should be stopped.

I’d like to reemphasize this. The dust you see is not settling. It is still going uphill when it flies over the horizon and out of view. It is like a rocket that has curved below the horizon but is still climbing. If you get this, it makes sense why it clears the view so fast. /1

There, in Vyshneve, near Kyiv, after the shelling, there already seem to be about ten people dead. Military depots were located right next to residential neighborhoods, practically adjacent to them, which is strictly, absolutely prohibited. This is a violation of the rules of warfare. THINGS LIKE THIS should be deep underground, under concrete. Instead, it is a criminal offense when military facilities are built inside residential areas or next to civilians. That is using human shields. In Ukraine, of course, nobody thinks about this, because if they did, they would have to put a whole lot of people in prison. But ordinary civilians need to understand that today workshops, assembly facilities, and drone production sites are located in business centers. And then everyone is surprised when those places get hit. Quite often, such workshops are on the ground floor of some educational institution - a college or a technical school. When it gets hit, the standard line is: “A university was hit.” Vyshneve is a very vivid example of how an ammunition depot was placed on a residential street. And now there are already piles of dead bodies. Anti-aircraft batteries are often placed on the roofs of high-rise buildings, and drones are shot down with machine guns. And nobody warns people that they should be evacuated from those buildings. Those buildings then become legitimate military targets. In reality, this is a very, very serious problem. This is happening all over Ukraine right now. Setting aside Russia’s aggression and the inadmissibility of shelling, if you use human shields, you are a scumbag, a monster, and a criminal. Zelensky is using human shields.

They just opened this mall in Ede. It belongs to Governor Adeleke. And a school is taking children on an excursion to it. On the surface, this might look like progress. But let us ask the hard questions. Despite all the investment Governor Adeleke is sinking into Ede, can it be sustained? And even worse, why is he doing it at the expense of every other town in Osun? This is not governance. This is the Adenization of Osun State. "Didn't teach us how to do taxes in school, build houses or be handymen in school?" That's an easy one. School isn't meant to create free thinkers or teach people how to be self sufficient. It is designed to train people to be just smart enough to follow orders and obey. The LAST thing any government wants is people being able to take care of themselves.

The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtron

Been wanting to film one of these because it happens so consistently and highlights a subtle but significant part of the V14 brain. Not only does V14 recognize collapsing lanes way sooner than V13 when it is in them and needs to get out, it also recognizes them when it is not in them, and is aware that vehicles inside of them need to get over. Here’s one of the many times I’ve witnessed V14 keeping space open for cars it knows will have to switch lanes.

Maybe I’m missing something, but what does it matter where he works? It shouldn’t matter if he’s full or part time since he’s still in high school, but at least he’s working and making money instead of being out there in the streets. Seems to me they are trying to shame him for working fast food but where else is a high school kid gonna work that is this flexible with his hours?

It’s difficult to put a finger on exactly when a nation falls. It is hard to know the very moment, but you can feel it in your bones when the president gleefully admits that his election was purchased with money from another country. He does this knowing that moves like this will usher in untold Republican loss in 2026 and 2028. And yet, he still does it. We’ve moved from nuance to bragging about the theft of American tax dollars and delivery over to another people in another place. It is not done to uphold US interests, but is a tithe to unbelievers who hold inexplicable power and authority over our government. And since it is done despite its devastating impacts on the upcoming elections, one must imagine it’s done under some sort of fear or duress. What other explanation could there be? It is one thing to know what goes on behind the scenes, and quite another for the president to admit it. This admission signifies the full transition from a strong lobby to absolute power, with the full sanction of the president and the full weight of government to enforce speech codes and stand up 100 task forces. This is to Republicans as BLM was to Democrats; this is them on one knee ushering in a time when you too will be expected to kneel.

The hardest part of V14 to explain to people is just how locked in and responsive it is. There is a step change here vs V13. The car is aware and calculating future moves so insanely fast. In this video, watch the moment my speedometer goes from 70 to 69mph. It recognizes the signaling of vehicle in the right lane, and before it even begins its slide into our lane, FSD is slowing to prepare its next move. It’s hard to explain this because you have to be in the car to feel how quickly the car shows you through movement and speed change that it is aware of what’s happening. I felt it even before you see the speedometer move. It’s almost instant. Way faster than humans and V13.

This lovely lady decided to bring a book from a high school library to a council meeting. She warns the audience that children should be removed, and immediately a council member says you can’t do that here. This is a public meeting so… this lovely woman proceeds to read from the book and let’s just say it’s filthy. I’m not going put it in this post because I’ll likely get booted off so suffice to say it’s disgusting, and the result is she got booted out of the meeting for reading a book that was in the high school library.. let that sink in. Bravo grandma 🙌🏼❤️❤️
