To be clear, Chicago’s most recent downgrade came as a result of Johnson’s 2025 budget, with S&P citing structural imbalance, little willingness to cut spending, and growing uncertainty about the city’s ability to raise new revenue.

27 of 50 Chicago aldermen have now signed on to a letter demanding Johnson’s team share with them the same financial data shared with consultants at Ernst & Young who were recently hired to find efficiencies in city government.

💪 Merica, we're taking it back. 💯 You like Trump, you know it, time to show it. ✅ T's for Trump here:

Anytime you have start a sentence with “Look”, then it’s not gonna be good

He spends three minutes rambling before finally admitting, “I live in optimism.” Translation: I believe in magic. Apparently Brandon Johnson takes his economic advice from Ronald McDonald. Mr. Johnson, I would like a full refund. This Happy Meal smells like bullshit.

He has absolutely zero clue what he’s talking about.

“This does not inspire confidence.” With his mumble/bumble response. This man wouldn’t know a municipal credit downgrade from a bag of 💩.

He sounds similar to my 2 year old when I ask whether he took a dump next to the toilet instead of in it.

"Look, I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm going throw this word salad at you, to answer your question."

Nailed it
