How is a 36 hour journey which is now 30 hours convenient? Can someone please explain the maths here? 8 hrs to Kota + 8 hrs waiting. That means a 20 hour journey from Kota which is now 30 hours from Gwalior.

If it is taking 30 hours from 36 hours then this Train do not enjoys any Merit,because in the present Times all steps are being taken to make maximum utilization of the time of All. So,instead of 36 hrs,if it'd have been 20 hrs then it enjoys the grounds of a Great Achievement.

What Bengaluru needs is Mass Rail Transport systems, not Tunnels, to solve the congestion problem. Metro + Suburban Rail + Last Mile Connectivity is the solution. The Bengaluru Suburban Rail project is now being done on priority with an aim of providing Intermodal Connectivity in the city. As promised, a new direct train from Bengaluru to Mumbai is flagged off today. 30 years after the first one began, in 1983. Another, faster Vande Bharat overnight sleeper will begin soon, in a couple of months. Thanking Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji for launching the SMVT Bengaluru-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus bi-weekly Express service today. This new train will improve regional connectivity and contribute to the economic growth of Karnataka and Maharashtra. Today, I also requested for a high-speed rail corridor on this route, via Davanagere & Hubballi, which would greatly reduce travel time and generate immense opportunities for people in the region.
