For those that don’t know what a squib is, it’s an under powdered round that gets lodged in the chamber. If you tap rack bang thinking it was a regular malfunction, you might end up losing some appendages like the lady in the video.

All of my reloads were made with a single stage press for 9mm. Takes a while, but each powder charge was weighed out with an RCBS charge master. A long process, but the end result is nothing short of perfect.

Very dangerous… Squib loads can occur in both factory manufactured and reloaded ammunition. They’re more frequent in reloads due to potential errors in the reloading process.

She knew it did not shoot and went for another round instead of checking it out, basic knowledge of gun mechanics and chemistry are a must before mastering muzzle discipline.

I had what I swore was a squib load in my .357 because I felt zero recoil Immediately put it down and asked the RSO for a rod turned out it made it all the way through but better safe than sorry especially with higher powered calibers

Shooter felt something is wrong but...

I came close to this once, but the squib blocked enough of the chamber that the next round wouldn’t chamber

Yeah... just trying again was not the right response.

2 inexperienced people. Squibs make a very distinct noise when fired
