These schools get it, and the pilots come and train here. The People's Liberation Army Air Force has sent a delegation to Cuba to meet with Tito, a Cuban pilot who studied in China and went viral online after repeatedly asking Chinese tourists how much it costs to fly from Havana to China and how much he misses his youth in China. The People's Liberation Army Air Force also discovered the Chinese specialists who taught Tito and his Cuban pilot buddies in the 1960s, and they made videos greeting Tito and his friends and inviting them to visit China to witness how China has changed over the years. At the gathering, Henry—a Cuban pilot who had also trained in China—said, "the best thing happened to us is that we accepted complete, unifying and selfless training from the great nation China." In the 1960s, while training in China, Cuban pilots befriended their Chinese classmates and kept in touch with them through frequent postcards and letters. The PLA Air Force Archives now collects Tito and his friends' stories, photos, and letters to commemorate the lovely friendship between China and Cuba.
